This was our second time here. Food was great. I liked the safron rice, Naan and masala. Only problem was Naan was burnt. Mango lassi was also pretty good.

The restaurant seems quite popular with the local residents of the SV. The space is actually quite large with ample capacity, though the entrance/front hall looks compact. I was here for dinner; hosting my guests from Japan visiting the US. And this was to be their first experience in an Indian restaurant. I walked in to Sakoon and put my... More

Sakoon used to be a fine dining experience once upon a time and so I took my friend for her 50th birthday there. I was really disappointed with the service and food. I had booked on open table and also told the waiter that we were celebrating a special day, but he made absolutely no effort to make it special... More

The Bay area has some very good Indian food. Sakoon, sadly enough, is just average. We tried the weekend lunch buffet and were disappointed to find that although nothing was terrible, there wasn't a single dish that stood out. The decor makes the place look very dark inside.

It's final - I will have buffet Indian lunch no more.... I have been to a few of them and they are all the same. Standard and run-of-the-mill menu that seems to be designed by the same chef. I found the food at Sakoon more tasty than some of the others. I will review their rating once I visit them... More

This is a very different Indian restaurant to what I'm used to coming from the UK. interesting new menu items. Starters were very tasty as were the mains - lots of flavour there. Could do with some more vegetarian options. The place is sizeable - with the main part at the front being nicely done out. Staff were friendly and... More

I got a takeout from Sakoon and it was the worse ever. There was fake coloring in the food and it smelled horrible. If you touch the curry by your fingers, the color would take forever to come off. I would not recommend this place.

Sakoon is a beautiful restaurant with a fabulous lunch buffet, perfect for business lunches or a quick bite with friends. Their dinner menu is also very good and the lamb chops are a must have!
