We ate here recently while visiting Mount Shasta. It was right next to our motel, so we walked over for dinner. We were able to sit outside on the patio. Being a small town, we were a little curious as to the quality of the food. We were pleasantly surprised- very good food. The Margaritas were large and strong as... More

This is one of our favorite restaurants. It is very consistent and the service is fast and friendly. There is a full bar and lots of chips and salsa. Recommend the Mahi Tostada!

Our "go to" place in Mt Shasta. Friendly staff, good food, generous portions. Outside, building can use a good coat of new paint and yard work, but inside, you'll enjoy fresh food, service with a smile, humongous drinks, and air-conditioning. Yay!

First the positive: My chicken taquitos appetizer was more filling and less greasy than expected. Now, the rest of the experience earning Casa Ramos the single star rating: The chicken taquitos are served with sour cream and guacamole. It looked like a fair amount of each until I discovered that both were on top of piles of shredded lettuce. I... More

We ate lunch at Casa Ramos. The portions were (too!) large and the food was very good. Authentic, local atmosphere. I had the lunch fajitas and could only eat half.

We tried four different restaurants in Shasta on this trip and chose Casa Ramos as the place to visit twice. You really can't go wrong with Mexican food -- it is hard to mess up, tastes good and is budget friendly. My husband liked his roasted pork dish so much that he had it two nights in a row. I... We were travelling through on vacation and decided to stop for lunch. We had no idea what to expect but the other reviews said it was good. We were pleasantly surprised. My son was accomidated with a cheeseburger. The prices were very good too. It was mid afternoon and there were only a few other customers there. I think they... More

Good tasty food. Great homemade salsa. Fast service. And great margaritas. How can you go wrong. Pleasantly surprised. Definitely recommend.

We have eaten at several Casa Ramos restaurants and here a couple of times. It never fails. Service was great (Tito is hilarious), efficient and friendly. The drinks were good and the appetizers were tasty. The guac lacked some flavor, though. Service and food here make it hard to believe this is a chain restaurant and not a local family... More
