Stopped by for a late lunch/early dinner and couple drinks. Very nice atmosphere, outside patio overlooking ocean. You can see whales swimming by. Available fire pits and blankets when it gets colder.

We were traveling down the Pacific Coast highway when I saw the sign for the restaurant. Traveled in a bit and came upon the Distillery. It was just what we were looking for on out PCH adventure as the table we got overlooked the ocean! They had a brunch special with all the champagne you could drink, think it was... More

Awesome dinner and a view of the ocean and sunset high above the beach! Terrific service and fun atmosphere! Try the yellowtail tuna dinner medium rare!!! Outstanding! Then take a walk outside and enjoy the tables outside and the gas fire pits! Pet friendly and just a great place! Highly recommend!

Yes, this restaurant needs a good cleaning and a major facelift, but stop anyway. We grabbed a couple of seats outside on the deck overlooking the expansive Pacific (yes, the chairs/tables resembled furniture that sits outside my shed - used only for overflow guests). But once the beer came, along with some delicious appetizers, I didn't care what I was... More

This place needs a facelift for sure. Went here 20 years ago and was blown away...not anymore. The view is still awesome but the restaurant is dingy and the food is average. Can't say I'd go back which is too bad as they could go so much with this place.

My wife and I were visiting Half Moon Bay for a short getaway from the unusually warm weather affecting the East Bay. On a Monday, we decided to go and have lunch at the Moss Beach Distillery. The weather was delightful, temperatures in the mid-70s, and would have been nice for outdoor dining. We made a reservation for lunch. When... More

Great food. We had the crab cakes, sole. Dining room could use an update, a little threadbare. Nice table, we were privy to a beautiful sunset from our window table.

Arrived tired and hungry from a long flight and we were warmly greeted! Decent martinis and hit ciabatta rolls as an app served us well. Grilled fish tacos were great and nicely seasoned. Steamed clams were very good, hearty portion of garlic bread served well to soak up the delicious broth! Service was friendly.

This restaurant is an experience that is memorable due to the beauty of the area & the wonderful food! We truly enjoyed our mid-afternoon meal... The fried artichoke hearts, crab cakes & the fish & chips were excellent! The wait staff could be more engaged with the customer to make it an outstanding experience!

Great food, excellent service. Dropped by for an early dinner with friends while cruising the Pacific Coast Highway. Been there many times over the years, never disappointed. Sue was great. Good straight advice, attentive service. I highly recommend. One thing-- they hate Amex. Just know this.
