Relaxed atmosphere with the freshest seafood imaginable, right next to the dock. Fast friendly service. Little wait to be seated but we came at peak dinner time and sunset. Not fancy, but ideal for Morro Bay's relaxed atmosphere.

upon entering tognazzini's you are offered a hearty welcome and escorted to a table ready for your dining experience. you don't have long to wait before a wait person comes and welcomes you and takes a drink order (they have cocktails, beer and wine and soft drinks et. al.) you look at the menu and observe what is really fresh.... I adore this place! There is always a local musician playing, the food is fast and fresh, the view is phenomenal, and they are dog friendly.'

We arrived at this restaurant late in the evening, half an hour before closing time. We received a warm welcome. We had first a clam chowder and three different fish entrees: a so-called Admiral dish, a Captain dish and one calamari-and-chips. All were very well cooked and made with very fresh fish (the owner is a fisherman himself )

Three of us, two non-fish eaters, had quite a good meal. My wife had a Cobb salad with ling cod, mother-in-law had a cheeseburger & I had a bison burger. All three were quite good as were the accompanying salads. Plenty of good food.

We chose this place because of Trip Advisor. The service was very good. The food was okay, not great. My son had the catch of the day, vermillion rockfish, and said it was just so-so. The shrimp bisque was delicious. The clam chowder was just ok. The kids had burgers and said they were ok. We split the fish tacos... More

Right on the dock, with fishing boats and fish that's really fresh from local fishermen. Restaurant is owned by a fisherman who knows fish. Historical local fishing photos decorate tables and restaurant, and they sell fresh fish in a place in back. Menu has many choices, including salads and fabulous (huge) burgers. Don't miss the chowder! The little place in... More

Great fishing port atmosphere here, with fresh seafood and oysters served on their outdoor terrace, with a musician playing in the afternoon/evening. We had plain oysters which were great, but their huge BBQ oysters are a must try. Meaty and juicy. We also had their cod and chips combo, as well as their calamari and chips combo, all excellent. It... More

My favorite spot in MB has gone terribly wrong. This place must have changed ownership. The Tog's I know would never let this happen. The teenage employees were rude, and not helpful. I was bothering them by ordering. They BBQ oysters were once the greatest food item on the Central Coast. They now serve oysters so large, the shells are... More
