We discovered this with a 'tip' from a local. It is down off the beaten path with indoor and outdoor seating. Quite popular for a sunset meAl. We come every year we pass through. The menu hasn't changed over the years and is good. The salmon sandwich is excellent. All of their salmon is. Their chowder is also. You can... More

This place is over by the golf course and is really a hidden gem. I have not had a bad meal here, although I always recommend the nachos!

Great sitting area by the Marina, indoors but great view. I had their daily special soup "curried carrot ginger soup", it was delicious! Clam chowder was also very good and we shared a tri-tip sandwich. Service was excellent, totally recommend!

I almost always get the fish tacos and if feeling indulgent, share the berry cobbler with lots of whipped cream or really indulgent with ice cream. Great views of the little harbor there. Once we watched a couple facing each other in a canoe..learning how to paddle.....in circles. Another man blindly searching for his fallen cell phone off the dock... More

Four of us had a very nice lunch here around Thanksgiving. Each had something different, with two being vegetarian. I enjoyed my burrito and others said their sandwiches and salad were great too. You cannot beat the beautiful outdoor setting. Very nice experience! Hint - I am told it gets very busy at prime times so plan accordingly.

The waitstaff at the Bayside Café was very helpful, especially since we had my two-year-old granddaughter with us. The selection of food is good and appropriate for a bayside establishment.

My girlfriend and I ate here a couple of days ago, while on a road trip to San Francisco. The Bayside Cafe is located right next to a bay, hence the name. They are located very close to Morro Bay State Park campground. We came here because they have a great reputation for seafood. I ordered the large portion of... More

While camping at the Morro Bay State Park Campground with friends we walked across the street to this great small restaurant for lunch. There was a wait as it was the weekend and this place is popular. We sat outside with friends and really enjoyed the sun and ocean air. The ambiance, service and food were all GREAT. We all... More

My cousin's go to place for lunch. Right by the dock in state park. I was visiting from Texas. Great tea, onion rings, & key lime pie. I ordered catch of the day (fish) with cilantro cream sauce & fabulous slaw. I will come back. Our hostess meet all our needs. She was gracious.

Bayside Cafe is nestled in the beautiful State Park Marina across from the entrance to the State Park Campground on lower State Park Road. The views of the back bay are astounding and unique. The food is very fresh with all homemade items including soups, salad dressing, sauces and desserts. You will not be disappointed by the friendly service and wide range of food items offered. A dog friendly outdoor patio is also a plus for our animal lovers.Oh, and by the way, we are NOT open for breakfast as has been stated by trip adviser.....sorry.Open every day for lunch starting at 11:00am and including service of dinners on Thursday through Sunday.See you there.
