Just walked across from the campground to get a cup of coffee and stayed for desert which really WOWED us! Returned next day for full service lunch! Good food, great, friendly service and nice atmosphere right on the harbor.

One of the best kept secrets of Morro Bay is this little cafe down by the lagoon past the public golf course. EXCELLENT staff. Dining either inside or out. EXCELLENT FOOD.

Food was meh. The guacamole was very good, but aside from that, the food wasn't anything special - felt rather generic. It was nice to eat on the patio, and the inside seemed to have a cool funky vibe (look up at the ceiling). A downside and something to note is there is no restroom, so you have to use... More

We ate on the covered heated outdoor deck at night. It was beautiful. There are overhead fans also but were not necessary for our dinner. The food was great. Our dogs were very comfortable. The staff is friendly.

The Fish with salad and the Clam chowder was really good. Absolutely worth the wait to be seated. Plenty parking. Lovely view!

We had fajitas, fish and chips and a catch of the day special (along with a delicious mud pie dessert). Portions were generous, food was tasty and prices were fair. They also have a good beer and wine selection.

We have been coming here for years. The food is amazing. Original homemade recipes from Dawn, the owner! The location is a jewel right in Morro Bay State Park on the small harbor. The menu offers a variety of creative cuisine and is absolutely delicious! There is always a crowd because it is also the local hang out too!

This wonderful eatery is off the beaten path, just across the street from Morro Bay State Park. It's on a small harbor and has resided there for many years. We enjoyed outdoor dining, as we had our dachshund with us. Indoor seating is also available and quite nice. From an extensive menu we dined on fish and chips and a... More

The food was great but a little bit of a wait surprised how many people were there on a Thursday. The service was great and so are the views I would highly recommend going here.

The food is delicious and plentiful. Servers are friendly and efficient. Inside and outside are clean. Dogs allowed in outside seating area. Building is old and charming in a funky way. Building is located in a marina in Morro Bay State Park nestled under tall trees with a view of Morro Bay/estuary. If you like dessert this is also the... More

Bayside Cafe is nestled in the beautiful State Park Marina across from the entrance to the State Park Campground on lower State Park Road. The views of the back bay are astounding and unique. The food is very fresh with all homemade items including soups, salad dressing, sauces and desserts. You will not be disappointed by the friendly service and wide range of food items offered. A dog friendly outdoor patio is also a plus for our animal lovers.Oh, and by the way, we are NOT open for breakfast as has been stated by trip adviser.....sorry.Open every day for lunch starting at 11:00am and including service of dinners on Thursday through Sunday.See you there.
