We came to Otter Rock Cafe to just have a beer and relax while our daughters kayaked out in the bay. Is a beautiful view with inside and outside seating so I could watch the girls. After the beer I asked for a Long Island Iced Tea. Wow, they don't skimp here. Absolutely delicious, so the drink idea turn into... More

Although they have live music, we generally go early to see the harbor, rock, boats, birds & seals. Good service, yummy fish tacos and great setting. We have been coming here for years.

We went there with a party of 10 to celebrate a birthday. We specifically chose the restaurant for its casual atmosphere and because they had halibut on the menu. Despite having reservations, we had to wait a while for our table, and they had run out of halibut. Service was OK, as was the food. In all a decent experience... More

Great views and environment on the water. Bloody Mary's are crazy good. Chowder and fish &a chips are common staples in most coastal town eateries but this was a cut above the rest. Chowder had great consistency, good amount of clams as well. The fish & chips were breaded nicely yet light and not greasy. Thumbs up here

Arrived late in Morro Bay and kitchen was just about to close. Enjoyed a nice meal, good beers and friendly service. The live music really made it a special place to be. Really enjoyed Morro Bay, will stay longer next time.

After bought one plate of fish and chips, 9 coronas, my total came to $97.00. if the food were prepared by a gourmet soux chef then it would have been worth it. the food was bland and was once frozen the fish and the fries both. the malt vinegar and ranch were the best part of the meal.

Stopped in for some late night apps and drinks after a long day of activities and travel on our way up the coast. The staff was very friendly and the entertainment was a plus. There was a good drink selection and the apps, especially the nachos, were tasty. There's a great view of Morro Rock from inside the restaurant/bar area.

On 4th of July the other restaurants had an hour or more wait but we were able to be immediately seated here. The Mexican Shrimp Cocktail was delicious. The fish & chips were hit & miss... Some pieces of fish were thin, dry & tough while others were thicker & moist... We had 3 orders total. The clam chowder got... More

We wanted to spend a fun evening and came across Otter Rock, saw the sign out front that said they had live music. So glad we went in. The band played classic rock which we love, and danced to, we ended up staying several hours. (and having several drinks!)
