Our favorite place for breakfast in Morro Bay. Good location. Well prepared food. Great service. Nice owner with an interesting story - his book "Double Luck" can be found here. If they offered egg white substitutions (a consideration these days), I would have given it another star.

We've stayed in Morro Bay several times and somehow never found this restaurant until now. Maybe because it is at the north end of the Embarcadero. But the locals know where it is, and for good reason! We enjoyed a hearty breakfast in a clean, well decorated, friendly service restaurant. An amazing collection of coffee pots of all ages are... It was observed that each person is greeted warmly and treated quite well. On this occasion, the owner/general manager (Gordon) Lu Chi Fa and server Amy greeted each person and in quite the teamwork fashion, delivered their appealing and tasty food right from the kitchen. If you like homemade corn beef hash for breakfast, stopping here is a must. It... More

Stopped in for lunch while traveling up the coast and so glad we did. Lots of great options for lunch and portions were generous. The decor is homey and cute. We even got to meet the owner, a very pleasant gentleman who emigrated to Calif from China many years ago.

Handy as right in town and seating outside to wait for a table when it's busy. Food itself quite average but good on a budget. Apple juice was horrible

Friendly and down to earth service, plus the delicious pancakes & great coffee makes this one of my favorite places to go for breakfast.
