We've been here numerous times and it's been good. I thought portion size etc was very typical. Friendly , prompt service is always good.

I used to frequent here years ago and looked forward to an inexpensive yet tasty meal. I was surely let down as the food has definitely gone downhill. Even worse, after the meal I had a case of Moctezuma’s revenge so I have certainly been here for the last time. The tortillas are decent but not after what happened after... More

Chuyita's is a more traditional Mexican restaurant. If you are looking for texmex or Mexican American kind of Mexican food, you will not find it here. ambiance is ok. It looks more like a cafe with lots of old photos of Pancho Villa, and other mexican, revolutionaries as well as pictures of aztecs. They make their own tortillas. the best... More

We have been coming here for years, but we have been noticing the cook has been getting a little lazy. I went a few months back with my family and I ordered the huevos rancheros and the cook said he didn't have time to cook my papas so he did them as fries, I was very disappointed. I live in... More

I noticed from where we normally eat that they serve a little bigger portion here. Everyone liked their choices etc. I thought everything was pretty good ! Everyone was friendly and the... More

Love the handmade fresh flour tortillas, but I think the place is a bit pricey for mexican food.

We ate here because many of the reviews talked about how authentic and homemade it was. My husband and I both ordered the enchiladas (that is my family's comfort food)- he got chicken and I got cheese. They weren't anything special, and were actually a bit bland. On the plus side, the chips and salsa were excellent. I don't know... More

The restaurant was full on a Sunday afternoon but service was still 'rapido' and friendly. Its very family-friendly and the staff was cordial to all. The food featured all fresh ingredients, plenty of that home-cooked taste and was better than the average Sonoran-Mexican offering. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served across a full menu. Formerly called "Mama Chuy's", this site... More
