The Grinder is no longer in business. A victim of the pandemic. It was good place for breakfast. I am required to use a minimum of 100 words so I hope this makes the quita.quota loop

We’ve been coming here since it opened in the late 1980’s. It’s expanded a bit with the sports grill section. Nice menu with loads of choices and breakfast served all day. Can’t go wrong with any items. Omelets are great and you can build your...own. My favorite is the game, Swiss and onion omelet. Hash browns are goooooood. Soups, sandwiches and salads are all great! Great local deli style restaurant. Relax and enjoy.More

We absolutely love this restaurant! We drove by it several times running errands & finally stopped to eat one evening...what can I say! The menu virtually has anything your taste buds are desiring! The service, food, and prices are truly amazing. They have a sweet...& sour cabbage soup that is so delicious! The owner is always there working with the employees which says a lot for itself. He is always checking in with the guests and really an enjoyable relaxing atmosphere. We have been back many times now & always try something new as there are so many items to choose from. Have not been the slightest disappointed in any meal yet. We are thankful we decided to stop that one night & find one of the very best restaurants in all of Ventura County.More

I ate at Grinders a couple of years ago, ordering a chicken Caesar salad at the time and found the service desultory and the food bland and overpriced. I tried it again for lunch with a friend and - wow! - what a difference! Friendly,...well-informed server and a knockout Reuben sandwich! So hearty I couldn’t eat it in one sitting and took half home for the next day’s lunch! Delicious with sauerkraut on rye bread and a choice of several meats, from the classic pastrami to turkey, corned beef or smoked brisket. It’s nice to re-discover a local place and I will be the first to say that I wish I had given Grinders a second chance a lot sooner!More

we have been to the Grinder restaurant a few times. We have always enjoyed our food there and their bar drinks. We usually sit in the bar area and we always had great service. We like to go there when sports are on and watch...their many TV's. It a fun place with great food and drinks.More

Large variety of entree's - different ethnicities and wide selection. Expect generous portions. Some of the items on the menu - you will need to ask for further information. There is the large restaurant area and the bar area. You can get the full menu...on either side. The mirrors will make you think that the place is larger than it appears. Try the lunch items and the dinner items. Generous portions - meatloaf is good. My son enjoyed the mashed potatoes and gravy.More

Was given a gift certificate, so ordered dinner and dessert. I had salmon, rice, vegetable and came with a salad. Dessert was cheesecake. Everything was just average. Service was ok and we were seated by our lonesome in the back of the restaurant. it was...early evening so not sure why we were not seated in a more pleasing spot. I would not go back for dinner, but might try breakfast.More

The Grinder is a “go-to” for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Their menu is huge, and their soups & deli sandwiches are wonderful. There is something for everyone on their menu.
