.....which I would naturally expect from a place with "Cow" in its name, heh heh heh. Had lunch here while catching up with an old high school friend I hadn't seen in 16 years. Friendly & efficient service.

Went with family for lunch. Seated right away and greeted by server with menus. Menu has so much variety. I had the soup of the day, butternut squash with jalapeño cream drizzled decoratively on top. It was delicious! They brought me what appeared to be a fruited nut bread which was lovely. Two of the family members had the bleu... More
This is a cozy, somewhat cramped spot with inside and outside seating. At this time of year the restaurant was nicely decorated with Christmas lights and trimmings which complemented the rather chilly evening..The menu has a variety of food types including various types of comfort food like meatloaf, stroganoff, and chili. I opted for the bowl of beef stew which... More
I love the veggie sandwich (burger) ... make sure to sit outside... to be inside is fun too... overall very good experience
Service was confusing... I think we had the new guy. Breakfast was very good. Price was average. I will frequent this restaurant again.

Great food, fun atmosphere and super service. The zucchini bread at lunch is to die for as are the dinner rolls. We order our Thanksgiving meal for 6 here with all the trimming - it's absolutely delicious!

Good for family breakfast or a lunchtime seat out front (though limited) to... More
We had such an enjoyable lunch experience at Black Cow Cafe. It's a cute restaurant that fits right into the Hollywood Ave (Montrose) feel. The wait staff welcomed us with big smiles, seated us quickly and were so attentive. I had Panchos Fish Tacos and enjoyed every bite. Although I usually prefer non-fried options, the fried fish in the tacos... More
