It has been years since I'd been here and the updates are beautiful. The large, traditional decor is awesome as are the food and drinks. The servers were very attentive and friendly, making our family lunch all the more pleasant. Great location and outdoor seating, plenty of parking.

We have been here many times over the years for Father's Day & Mother's Day brunch as well as for Sunday brunch, lunch, dinner and various functions and celebrations with each being a positive experience, that is until now. The brunch this Father's Day was mediocre at best, the best thing about the food were the Waffles, Menudo, hand made... More

Really spectacular restaurant with lots of facility for groups and also nice outdoor dinning, with a great view. .Unfortunately the food doesn't compare to the physical environment.

The waiter was attentive warranted the 20% we left. Food was good, jumbo shrimp in an excellent Diablo sauce w grilled vegs, fiesta appetizer very ample for 2-3, good carnitas. Prices on the high end of reasonable for the service , ambiance and quality. An LA icon better known for Latino themed parties, wedding receptions etc.

The restaurant offers you a variety of authenic flavors from several parts of Mexico. You name it, it's there. The Sunday brunch has everything that a brunch lover wants, including prime rib, shrimps, oysters on the half shell, and crab legs. Oh, don't forget the all you can drink champagne. But, the best part of the entire experience was the... More

I went here for an office event and my coworker ordered for the group. Out of everything I had, the luminarias chicken was the best surprise. I'm pretty sure it's yummy because I still remember it. If I ever go back here, this is what I'd pick again.

I've been going to Luminarias for brunch with my family since I was a kid. The brunch is alway delicious! The have a wide variety of food and a great dessert selection. The bottomless mimosas are also great. The only drawback is the price, it is pricey for a family of four. Even though it is pricey, we will be... More

I have been going here for years and the food is still good! They have stopped the lunch buffet during the week but it is still offered on Saturdays and Sundays. I ordered the combo of chicken enchilada and chicken taco with rice and beans for $12.95. For lunch at a restaurant, I feel this is a great deal...and the... More

Although this place is a little outdated and in need of a renovation, the food and staff are outstanding! Everything from the sushi to the mashed potatoes to the salad and barbecued carne are delicious and outstanding. The bottomless mimosas were great. Our server, Javier, went above and beyond keeping us satisfied. It was our first time there and Javier... More

Have always love to go for Mexican food at least once when visiting LA where I had lived a whole year more than 30 years ago and got attracted to burritos. My sister in law took me to this place where she had attended a wedding reception and was impressed with their Mexican food. We did not make any reservation... More
