Perfect setting, staff was super friendly, food was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Couldn't have asked for fresher seafood. Best clam chowder i've had on the West Coast....New England gal in seafood heaven. :)

Breakfast was awesome, wish I had opted for the hubcap pancake after seeing others get it. Not much seating, we were lucky to get a table before our whale watch.

What a wonderful morning my family and I had at LouLou's! The location can't be beat and the food is delicious. Small and intimate setting. You can dine inside or out. The windows stay open so either place is pleasant. Very nice and attentive staff....More

Right on the dock with at the Municipal Pier (not Fisherman's Wharf), a tiny unique breakfast place. The appeal comes from: (a) the food - huge portions, well cooked, and (b) the size of the restaurant, in contrast to the portions it's tiny and you...More

We were here 3 years ago. Fond memories have turned to nightmares. Sat outside. No wine or beer allowed . That's ok. Water is fine. Coffee gross. Nothing appetizing on the menu, i.e., the usual calamari or clam chowder and then tuna melts or burgers....More

I happened upon this little diner while walking to the touristy Fisherman's Wharf, and got misdirected- this is located on the real Fisherman's Wharf nearby, which is wet, smelly, and had actual fisherman with fresh caught fish in process. I saw this tiny place with...More

Description
Loulou's Griddle in the Middle is the tiny diner on Wharf #2. We always say we're "tiny but mighty." We cook with a lot of heart, soul, and deep care about every detail. We aim to make your experience comfortable, fun, delicious, and a little like being at a home-away-from-home. The kitchen is open so you can see our chefs preparing right in front of you. Our community of customers--both local and visitors from far away--also make Loulou's special. We bend over backwards to accomodate your requests, when we can, and we might crown you with a tiara if your requests are many....but all in fun. The diner opened in 1948, so it's rich with history. We're blessed with one customer, Henry, who has been coming EVERY morning since 1948 and he's earned a customized stool, a plaque, his own coffee mug, and a warm place in our hearts.
