If you like bread and pastry and desserts and coffee, this is the place for you! (and me). The staff is friendly, some of the decor harkens back to the 70s, in a good way, and you'll feel right at home. I'm one of the locals.

This is a quaint little place with delightful pastries. You can also get sandwiches, drinks, and other items. It's the fresh pastries and breads that will make one go back for more!

Stopped in for breakfast and did what most 1st Timers do -- went WOW at all the choices to choose from. Had two breakfast sandwiches and a treat from the counter and was most excellent -- will be back. You cannot go wrong here.

We decided to eat somewhere other than the hotel for breakfast and choose Paris Bakery. In our group we ordered a coffee or tea drink, croissants, pastries, cookies and oatmeal. The oatmeal was so incredibly hot, we had to ask for some cool milk or water to put into it in order to eat it. This is a small, locals... More

Stopped here for pastries and coffee to take out before an early whale watching trip. Obviously very popular place if the queues are anything to go by. Huge selection to choose from and only wished I could have bought more as they all looked so tempting. There are tables available but handy, if like us, you want something quick to... More

Fun and obviously popular, though the things in the case looked better than they tasted. Croissants only OK. Someone else had a huge slice of coffee cake......next time I'd try that. It was entertaining, sort of, to watch a local pigeon evade everyone's best efforts to shoo him outside.

After a 3 week roadtrip this was the first bakery with (more than) decent bread in the states. We were too late for the breakfast buffet in the hotel so we went here. We'll probably mis breakfast at the hotel again so we can go here. My wife, who used to work in a bakery as a side job and... More

I bought two pastries here and enjoyed both. Not sure it was worth a special trip to this part of Monterey and hunting for a place to park. But if you are strolling by, it is worth a stop for a pastry and a cup of coffee. The chocolate dipped madeline cookie was very good.
