We had a fantastic meal at Schooners on our visit to Monterey in February, great service, great food and a lovely setting overlooking the sea. Thanks for the hospitality folks !

We had a nice dinner. Great seafood and great service! The most confusing/frustrating part of our meal was figuring out where to find it (downstairs Monterey Plaza Hotel).

We had a family breakfast here the morning we left. I had a egg, shrimp and potato scramble that was very good. The staff was very outgoing and it was a pleasure to watch the otter's in the water below as we ate.

I usually avoid restaurants associated with hotels. They are usually overpriced and don't compete with local fare. Because of inclement weather my wife and I, rather than venture outside, decided to give Schooners a try. It turned out to be one of, if not the best, meals we had in Monterey. We sat next to a window overlooking the bay... More

Always had fantastic food here but unfortunately got some serious food poisoning this trip. Really bad, but I gave this review based on past experiences and the way they handled my bad dinner, which was outstanding.

Had lunch on outdoor patio overlooking the water. Nice view, friendly service. Sea bass BLT and crab cake sandwich were fine, not awesome. Got the red chowder as a side and it was okay. It's all about the view here.

The place was difficult to find if entering from a side street with parking. Once we found the restaurant, the meal was worth the hunt. The staff was very good and there was a nice view. This is a good place for various fish and the Angry Pawns were the best that I have ever eaten. Cost is about $60... More

This restaurant is a short walk (helpful on a rainy night) from Monterey Bay Inn. Cozy place to eat. Nice menu selection.

Colleen and Jesse always show us a Special time when dining here. The food and drinks are delicious and presentation is very eye pleasing. When weather permits, we eat lunch on the outside patio overlooking the Bay. We can't get enough of this dining experience. Thank you, Jesse and Colleen! 😇🙇
