Made a day trip to Monterey on coach while visiting San Francisco. Chose Louie's for lunch. Great choice. Great food, great service, great atmosphere and pictures of Louie on the wall. Would definitely go back for more.

We had a decent meal at Louie Linguini's. Nothing too special about the food, but the service was excellent. Our waiter accommodated us with a smile and took good care of us throughout the evening. The sangria was tasty and my salad fresh and varied. Chowder in a bread bowl seems to be a thing here, and both kids ordered... More

Interesting Italian on Cannery Row. Spacious and atmospheric and the food was good - prices seemed consistent with the other places nearby. Our waiter was not the typical jovial type you would expect to find - we may have been unlucky - but it slightly took the shine off the experience.

Ate here after an afternoon out in the bay whale watching. Good menu and good service with reasonable prices.

This restaurant is located in the heart of Cannery Row! Most of the seating had water views. We sat outside overlooking the water! Amazing view, hearing the waves crash sound so good! Well lets get the to food, service review. Our server was very nice, checked on us often, refilling our drinks, and bringing endless loaves of bread to nibble... More

We dropped in for lunch and got a table out on balcony over bay. Minestrone soup was decent. Hamburger pretty mediocre. Salad louie with olives was just romaine in a bowl with a few tiny shrimp thrown on top, with literally one black olive sliced, and russian dressing on the side--for $15. Pop-corn shrimp so-so. In short, a very mediocre... More

Wanted some clam chowder and remembered the samples they gave away 2 years ago when we were in the area. Husband had mussels in the red sauce and LOVED them! Other party members had Chicken Alfredo, hamburger, and pizza. Everybody enjoyed their meals. The service was okay. The atmosphere was casual. Of course nothing in the area is cost effective,... I ate here for lunch and dinner with very different results. My lunch consisted of a large ceasar salad with grilled shrimp and fried mushrooms. The salad had no taste and was not eye appealing-the shrimp were under cooked-the mushrooms were great! For dinner I had the roasted crab legs and they were very GOOD!!! The dish was very tasty... We looked on various menu s of several restaurants in cannery row. This one was not too expensive and happened to serve fine meals! First Decent dish in weeks actually.

Start with the positive: great location and views. That's it. Our host asked whether we would like to sit inside or out. Inside was our choice given the cool evening. Took us through and offered to sit us in the middle of the dining room. I spotted two vacant tables next to the window with sea views. Asked for one... More
