My family and I went for a quick trip to Monterey. We had dinner at Louie Linguinis. I had visited there before for lunch and it was great because we got an outside table with fabulous views. This time we had dinner inside and even though we didn't have an amazing view this time... the food did not disappoint. The... More

If you want a casual meal in a great location this is the place. Good variety. We like the appetizers in particular the spicy shrimp and calamari with crostini.

A pretty decent place to eat with good ambiance. Price was definitely on the higher side. Service was a bit slow but I guess it was a weekday and they didn't expect too many people. The food was fresh and tasty. The thing that really makes this place stand out is the personal history of Louie Linguini. It is displayed... More

This is one of the better family-friendly restaurants on Cannery Row. We visited some years ago and our return visit was pleasant as well. Crab cake sandwiches were very tasty. Would visit for a third time.

We tried to eat here. The host at the front told us 20 minute wait, 10 minutes more if we wanted a window view. We went to the bar to wait. 20 minutes later they tried to seat us at a busy table in the middle. My husband passed on saying he'd wait 10 more minutes for a quiet window... More

This restaurant is definitely made for kids. We went on a Thursday night and there was a lot of kids! That was perfect for us since we were travelling with a baby. Had the meatballs. I believe they were homemade but the pasta sauce wasn't and the meal was overall very salty. The seafood salad was ok but the shrimps,... More

Went there for dinner. The food here is what you would find at a Olive Garden, but prices were much higher. The service was horrible. When we entered the restaurant, the hostess was no where in sight. She appeared a couple of minutes later and seated us. Even though there were only 5 tables occupied, 2 waiters were very very... A little pricy and my plate anyway, could have been much better. I had the Ciappino and I've had much better, with more seafood. There were 6 of us in our party and their food didn't WoW anyone. The service was mediocre as well. I won't return here next time I'm in the area - over priced, average food.

Normally we eat seafood well at monterey but were hungry for some pizza and decided to try Louie Linguini's. What a surprise, the pizza was excellent for the price and the atmosphere was good. The bartender and wait staff were excellent and the service was great.

Fettuccini w/ chicken was Luke warm, chicken bits were very dry and hard they had to be picked out. Mozzarella rounds were cold but coating was light and good. Drinks were very weak. Bread with whipped butter was good. Sample of clam chowder downstairs was piping hot and very tasty.
