This restaurant serves consistent good quality food. It is very convenient to eat here before going to the theatre. Service is quick and efficient. Prices are reasonable. I especially like their sand dab tostaco. The sand dabs are not on the menu but are usually available. I also like their grilled shrimp tostaco. They now provide table service when previously... We went for lunch during the July 4th weekend since the other vegan Mexican place was closed. The food is good, not outstanding, the service is good as well. I had horchata for the first time in my life and really liked it and seeing many other customers also sipping it may i dare say they make it quite well.... More

My family of 5 arrived at 7:50pm unaware that the restaurant closed at 8pm. Despite this we were invited to sit down and eat in, offered unhurried service, and enjoyable drinks and meals. The meats on the Hacienda Platter were particularly tasty and tender. $80 for dinner, a margarita, a Corona and other drinks was great value for an efficiently... More

We were hungry for fish tacos and went off a verbal recommend. Should have looked it up. The tacos were ok. We ordered nachos too and they don't have jalapeños ? We should have just went to the pier goes to show you read reviews first if we did that we would not have eaten their. We are kind of... More

Sort of Caribbean dishes that are quite tasty and healthier than the fast food joints. Very good selection for a range of tastes and service is very fast. Great place for healthy take out that it 3 steps above McDonalds or Subway

This relatively small restaurant isn't fancy or pretentious. It is clean, however -- which I'll take over being fancy or pretentious -- and features good food and much more than friendly servers. The black bean paste, which is spread inside tacos before the other fillings are put in, is worth the price of admission by itself. Another bonus (as long... More

The two of us had a quick lunch of chicken, carnitas, shrimp and steak tacos. Lots of meat with cabbage and onions on two corn tortillas. Tasty, fresh guacamole and crispy chips. Interesting salsa with cranberries and jicama! Reasonable prices and good service.

We fancied Mexican for a change and saw this restaurant was a short walk from our hotel and made a break from the usual seafood style places around Fisherman's wharf. The decor and lighting make it feel a little sparse but the selection on the menu and the good value prices are appealing. Visiting as a family of 4 it... More

Turtle Bay and the Fishwife restaurants are not the fanciest places in town. They could use some new paint and some overall freshening up but the food is consistently great and affordable. You do have to pay a small amount for chips but the salsa is delicious. I love the tostacos and always find the food fresh and original.
