I GO TO THE SARDINE FACTORY EVERY SINGLE TIME I GO TO Monterey Bay! It is consistently excellent and I'm not gonna lie.....the music in the bar is FANTASTIC Tuesday - Saturday!!!

The food was phenomenal. I was most impressed with there ability to serve surf and turf for over 100 people and get it out fast, hot and right. My absolute favorite was the cream of artichoke soup! A must try on your trip to Monterey.

the restaurant is worthy of the Michelin star. the taste and serving of the dishes were delicious! tuna and seto from the squid are delicious! a wide selection of wines and cocktails. be sure to take desserts. the staff was at the highest level!

If you want a classic Steakhouse that has a long history of serving some of the biggest nicest steaks and Crab Legs etc. This is it. Excellent service a little on the pricey side but I think worth the visit when in Monterey.

We live in this area. Sad to say California has gone way casual in the last ten years. I would avoid the standard tech uniform of blue jeans and t shirt. Have the boys wear slacks and regular shirt and you will not feel out... More

Casual. No ball caps or sandals. However it is okay to dress nice. Some people wear suits and dresses
