The Honor Bar is part of the Hillstone group with many great restaurants we have frequented in the past. The Honor Bar was no exception. Nice corner location in Montecito with patio dining. Long waits for lunch and some tables do not have shade covers...or umbrellas. Moderate to expensive food dishes and cocktails. Great service from all. Food very tasty, although a very simple/small choice of menu items. No reservations at brunch. Recommend arriving before noon or plan on a 30-45 minute wait. Great choice if you are looking for good food.More

I arrived in Monticeto too early for check-in at the Rosewood Miramar Beach resort, so I stopped by the charming downtown village area for a look. I first looked at Jeannine's for breakfast, but it was late morning and the place was packed, especially with...social distancing. I then wandered by the Honor Bar next door, and they were just opening (11am) . The place is petite to begin with and made even less so with every other table blocked off inside and on the patio. I enjoyed my fried chicken sandwich and side of fries, served with ketchup and a chipotle mayo. This was my first meal in a restaurant in almost 3 months! Santa Barbara County partially reopened earlier than LA County.More

On a quick trip to Santa Barbara, we strolled into the Honor Bar for a casual dinner. We were not disappointed. Great casual menu .

We were fortunate to get a table on a busy Saturday at Honor Bar. Service was exceptional and the food terrific. The lettuce wrap with pork so yummy and the crispy chicken sandwich was great as well.

Local hangout with some tourists mixed in. Lamb burger was awesome. Cocktails expertly prepared. Outdoor seating in beautiful Montecito

The menu isn’t full of options, but the food is great. One of the best “well oiled” machines ever. The food is consistent, the staff is amazing and the management is actually immersed in the process and on the floor. Of course it is Montecito,...where everyone comes to be seen or watch some random celeb. But, as a local, I keep coming back to enjoy consistent food with a very hardworking and genuine staff. It actually feels good to spend money here. If you can, sit at the bar. Meet the bartenders... Shannon, Hayley, Tyler, Karissa, Kelsey... bartenders. Dain is the Chef. You can find him running expo, making sure every plate goes out perfectly. Where else, do you find a Chef that does that? Absolute commitment.👍🏼🙏🏽 And the manager is amazing Schauna.More

We wanted a quick bite and this was our first stop, we were seated right away on the patio. It was a cool evening but the heaters are great and they even brought me a small blanket. Great atmosphere, service & food! you will not...be disappointed!More

Typical Monticito vibe that nickel and dimes you for everything off of their limited menu. The chicken sandwich and French dip were average at best and the cocktails were way overpriced. Sides including fries are extra and the service, while attentive, is not based on...customer service but rather on a “turn that table” mentality. In sum, great place “to be seen” if your in to that, but not a great place to go if your hungry or want a relaxing meal. If you asked me if I would go back I would simply say, “No thank you!”More

It's a small menu but everything we had was amazingly delicious. We highly recommend the Peruvian meatballs, deviled eggs, tabbouleh, crispy chicken sandwich and the Honor burger. The wine list is small but comprehensive enough that you'll find something great to go with your meal....The service is wonderful. Crystal is so gracious and friendly! Highly recommended for a casual meal in the coolest part of Montecito.More

We have eaten here several times over the years when we visit. We have never had anything but the most delicious and consistent food served by a most attentive and courteous staff. The menu is small and tight...a great formula for consistency and quality control....The smoked salmon with toast is a great example. Smoked salmon like I have rarely seen or tasted. Not the overly-dry, dark pieces but a soft, lightly smoked fillet still moist and not overwhelmed by the smoke. The carefully grilled toast was the perfect accompaniment. Lamb-burgers were a special and perfectly (medium rare, rare) cooked with simple and unobtrusive "attachments." Talked to the manager and it was great to hear his passion and dedication to this concept of consistent, quality cuisine. Love this place!More

No entertainment. Not roomy enough for dogs but I would call about that one. Kids entertained by parents. Lol
