I've now been here twice in the 25+ years that I've lived in Merced. Both times have been within the last few months. Each time = disappointing. First. Food is expensive. Really expensive. Carnitas I ordered cost me $12.50. Come on seriously. Refried beans and rice and basically free, so $12.00 for a handful of carnitas and some undercooked homemade... More

Two of us went there for lunch at the recommendation of another local merchant when we specifically asked for a Mexican restaurant. Lesson learned; just because a Mexican person recommends it, that doesn't mean it is good. We ordered two separate types of lunch platters. Both were skimpy on quantity. We were still hungry when we left. At my favorite... More

I was in the mood for Mexican food on a Sunday morning so first choice was Maria's Taco Shop but decided here instead because of the flour tortillas. Big mistake. Got seated, got water and chips and salsa promptly. Ordered steak and eggs with potatos that the waitress recommended and beans. Got a plate of everything BUT beans and got... More

Worst carne asada !!! If you like dry and hard to chew carne asada with slow service then this is your place. Waitress likes to ignore people, food is not good, maybe the chile verde or enchiladas but carne asada is BAD, homemade tortillas but warmed up on the microwave, carne asada without guacamole or any salsa expect the tiny... Been eating at Trevino's for years. This is good standard Mexican food, everything tastes fresh and homemade. I like their Chile Verde with homemade tortillas and a Horchata. I also like their fajitas.

Incredible food! The Cheese, Salads, pizza, and 29 wine. SO here's the tip of the day here.... Butternut Squash Ravioli. TO DIE FOR! The service was above average but not the best in NAPA, but the Food made up for it 100%. We will go here every time we head to NAPA

The homemade tortillas were the best thing about this restaurant everything else was poor especially the service. Our waitress forgot to bring us chips and salsa - we had to ask twice. She manged to get each of our orders wrong and when my friend asked for a refill of his pop she didnt bring it for over 20min. He... More

Well the food was good but they have to do something about the service. The diablo shrimp was spicy as the menu said. The mixed fajitas were good but served with no guacamole, cheese, sour cream or anything. They give you 2 tortillas so I had to wait to ask for more. I asked for more salsa since there was... More
