There are not many Stanford students and alumni that haven't visited the O for beer and burgers, LA Hot and ----------. Great atmosphere, I remember years ago carving names etc.. into the tables and walls. The atmosphere is loose, friendly and fun.

Food was horrible, beer lines have never been cleaned. Customer service.... do not know where to begin. Staff at the bar were very rude. The place wasn't even busy. The pints were thrown as if I was a dog, when asked simple questions staff just walked off saying I dont know. They seemed not bothered to take your money away... More

So I was recommended to go here from a friend, as I was attending an AYSO soccer instructional camp just up the road at Menlo College. I headed over and it was exactly as described - pub type of fare, reasonably priced, with a real "regular guy" kind of atmosphere. I ordered at the counter, was given one of those... More

As a grad student at that Jr. University down the street, this was one of our semi-regular hangouts. It's been over three decades since I was here before my most recent visit, but this is still the famous, nostalgic "O". The wood paneling, real booths, smallish patio, smaller bar and order-your-own pizza, burgers and other student food counter are still... More

Had a tasty burger but I wish they had had a gluten free bun. They did a lettuce wrap for me though and their outside patio was great!

Went to get a burger, fries and a beer, watch me some Giants on TV... Stayed at the bar because there were so many whining screaming kids outside... terrible. Food came, missing half of what was ordered and what came wasnt served as requested. Would never go back...

Went for dinner around 7:30 PM. Ordered a combo pizza and clam chowder. The chowder tasted like it came out of a can The combo pizza was OK with the toppings but the crust seemed like it was not freshly prepared. The beer was very good. The noise level was not conducive for a conversation.

Great selection of beer here; everything from 40oz of Budweiser to multiple Ballast Point beers on draft, and everything in between. The food is pretty good, but it depends on what you order. After trying a number of menu options the standouts for me are the Turkey & Swiss, the Pretzel (why don't more bars have these?), and the Wedge... More

Been going here for years and always a great time. Perfect old school place to have a meal and drink a beer.
