Cafe Borrone never disappoints, it's an easy going atmosphere with great coffees and breakfast (never been for lunch).

On a recent visit to Menlo Park, we needed to stop somewhere to eat a quick breakfast. Nothing extensive--nothing extravagant. After seeing that Café Borrone was less than a mile from the hotel and was rated well on TripAdvisor, we gave it a go. Good choice. Good service, good food. Shared an omelet and was just the right size for... More

Friendly happy locals place with good, simple food, coffee and drinks. Outside on the terrace is a great place for brunch with friends.

While they have a very good system, you still have to be patient to wait in line and get your selections. Popular morning and lunch times find the Cafe very crowded and it's often hard to find a table. However, the coffees and food are great.

Excellent spot to enjoy coffee and breakfast, if you like, over relaxed conversation on huge outdoor patio. Don't let the long line to order scare you away--it moves very quickly and once you place your order, it's quickly brought to your table, as well.

Cafe Borrone is always popular, and it is a delight to sit outside and enjoy. The food is quite good (for a cafe), and the service is adequate. However, the prices are somewhat high for what you get. Good luck getting a table, you'll have to hover and wait for someone to leave, but it is worth it.

Great food, great coffee, great outdoor seating. Excellent breakfasts. Super casual. Dog friendly. Kid friendly. Their overall selection of menu items is very good and they are happy to customize menu items to fit your tastes.

A highlight of a visit to Menlo Park. Taste delights to please any all palettes. Although always busy the service is fairly rapid and the food is worth waiting for.

Borrone is the quintessential valley experince. Large area outside with tons of tables with umbrellas for shade. Nice tables inside as well. Often jazz quartet playing outside too. Everyone outside eating, mingling in the sunshine, under the blue sky, with Kepler book store right next store, another institution. A real old fashion and yet updated bookstore Keplers to me is...
