For a regular I'm sure this place is a solid staple, but as a wanderer I found it a challenge. Let's start with the good. Clean, open air patio, helpful staff, and a genuine feel. Now the challenge. As someone who knew very little about this place I felt lost. I tried to grab a seat on the patio and... More

Mediocre overpriced drip coffee just so you can sit outside. Food is average. But the beer is great. A real landmark for MP but way over rated.

Great breakfast, there is indoor and outdoor seating. Delicious quiches, waffles, bread, cakes, fruit bowl, all kind of coffees. Enough to choose! Cozy place.

Like a typical bistro in France, this restaurant serves up tasty dinner fare as well as some lovely wines from California and farther afield. The service was excellent and the meals generous but not overly so. Prices were fair for the area.

We make a point of having breakfast here every time we visit the Valley. Food is wonderful and the coffee is great. You can sit outside if the weather is nice. Visit Kepler's bookstore right next door!

I have been coming here since the owner's kids were all still in high school. Now they are all grown up and we now also go to their pizza place and breakfast place as well. But Cafe Borrone is always the same. It's such a great place to meet people, to hang out and to relax and enjoy.

You can say that here and get a full flavoured full strength big mug of coffee. In Europe they wouldn't understand.Liked the different quiches they had, nearest you'll get to the British b+b 'full vegetarian cooked breakfast'.The Barrone has a friendly atmosphere,it's spacious and comfortable, liked it a lot.

Cafe Borrone is a Menlo Park staple! They have been consistently wonderful for years. The food, staff and atmosphere is wonderful and we have yet to be disappointed in anything.

Cafe Borrone is a great place to have lunch and I do so for almost 20 years. There's a nice sitting area outside. The food is healthy and tasty. A cup of minestrone soup and a half sandwich is always a best choice for me.

Cafe Borrone is a cafe next to Kepler's Books (always a great place to browse) and it opens onto a large patio. It's casual with great food. I love their salads and a frosted mocha to die over. (It's mostly slightly melted ice cream with coffee. Yum!) The long lines at brunch and lunch look daunting but they move quickly.... More
