Cafe Borrone is a great place to have lunch and I do so for almost 20 years. There's a nice sitting area outside. The food is healthy and tasty. A cup of minestrone soup and a half sandwich is always a best choice for me.

Cafe Borrone is a cafe next to Kepler's Books (always a great place to browse) and it opens onto a large patio. It's casual with great food. I love their salads and a frosted mocha to die over. (It's mostly slightly melted ice cream with coffee. Yum!) The long lines at brunch and lunch look daunting but they move quickly.... More

My favorite place lunch. The shrimp salad and Gouda sandwich are my "go to" menu items. I love their fresh squeezed OJ and variety of pastries as well as their relaxed outdoor seating. It can be tough getting a table during lunch but totally worth the short wait for great food in a nice location.

Sitting outside at Borrone and eating one of the delicious menu choices, either from the breakfast menu or the dinner menu, is an outstanding way to spend the afternoon. The food is unique and varied. Go early to be sure to get a spot. This is an order at the counter restaurant although the wait staff is very attentive.

Nice sidewalk-deli-cafe type of feel. excellent food/desserts/beer/wine on hand. Busy vibe to the place, and one of the very best tradjazz bands (most Fridays) that you'll hear anywhere!

Catch an independent film at the Guild and walk over to Borrone for a great artichoke quiche and Arnold Palmer tea on a hot day. You're not in Kansas any more... A slice of quiche is around $13 for a thick slice and tong full of greens. Wine seems to start at $10 a glass. Lively outside atmosphere. Wear a... More

Had the most delicious scrambled eggs with mushrooms (a yummy variety) and cream cheese (?) at Cafe Borrone last week. It may have been a special but I hope it becomes a staple on the menu.
