Wanted to meet a friend at a place where we could eat outside so I made a reservation here, Got seated at a table for four and 10 minutes later, was asked to move because they were sold out and needed the larger table for a bigger party. Turns out there was no larger party and the table was given... More

You may love the bustling breakfasts at Brian's in Los Altos but when I want a quiet upscale place to take my out of town relatives, it is the Menlo Grill. The service is outstanding and the food well prepared and presented. The menu is straight forward rather than trendy. We have always eaten in the room to your left... More

The best features of the Menlo Grill are that you can bring your own wine and there is NO FEE...and it has a great patio area that is very, very comfortable and the place to go in the summer. We had an excellent (although limited as to quantity) lamb rack and very good Scottish salmon. Highly recommended.

Too good of a restaurant not to eat in the hotel. Healthy yummy apps and entres and a beautiful ambiance to go with it.

My wife and I were in town for a family gathering and we made reservations for Friday evening. We were seated immediately and greeted by our waiter very quickly. We placed drink orders right away, but did not receive them for about 15 minutes. But the wait was worth it, as the craft cocktails are amazing! Props to the young... More

As we were staying at the Stanford Park Hotel it was very convenient to dine"in-house" on the evening we arrived. Being a Friday night, with no reservation, we got a table outside in the lovely courtyard. It was a freak cold weekend in the Bay Area and without the stoves it would have been too cold, but we survived the... More

Very good food in a lovely venue. On the upper price scale . Nice wine choices. Could improve the service . We had a large party and it was handled slowly, but staff was nice. Would come here again.

This quiet restaurant has tasty food and pleasant service. One problem is with the dinner plates. They are visually attractive, concave on one side, convex on the other three sides. Visual attractiveness does not always translate into comfortable eating. The knife, for instance, did not stay on the plate. It slipped off to the mat, no matter how I placed... More

Great option for dining up here! Loved my flatbread. Good atmosphere and crowd, too. Husband had dessert and said it was fabulous.
