Our family, 2 adults, and kids ages 13 and 10, absolutely LOVED Good Life! The menu is fulled with scrumptious variety, from kid pleasing grilled cheese, to scrambles, to croissant breakfast sandwiches to a delicious Pura Vido bowl. The staff was incredibly lovely and COVID...protocols felt very safe. We visited multiple days after working up an appetite biking and hiking. Beware they close at 2!More

Another reviewer said this was the best breakfast in town -- I agree! The breakfast sandwich was A+. Highly recommend!

Best breakfast in town! everything was good, be prepared to wait in line or better order for pickup, much faster. Also had wonderful chicken quesadilla for lunch on another visit.

We snagged breakfast to go from here every morning of our trip. All meals were fantastic (but I highly recommend getting your hands on a croissant if you can). Food was always ready quickly (considering a holiday weekend and COVID restrictions), still warm when picked...up, and delicious.More

There is a nice deck off to the side of the cafe. Due to Covid, there was a long line on the sidewalk as they were only allowing 1 customer inside to order at a time. The coffee was good and selection of pastries was...also good.More

I had lunch here and had an amazing salad with fresh beets. There are lots of gluten-free options if that's a concern for you. The quiche was also pretty good and good portion size.

Take your healthy, nourishing grub to the outside seating area and enjoy the curious ravens! Anything on the menu’s good but the chai is tastelessly frothy. Great art and great people. Biggest apple pie ever!

We went here several times during our visit to Mendocino, and generally speaking the food was excellent! Highly recommend the waffles, bagels, bowls, and salads. The baked goods and coffee are solid as well. The only con is that the place is very diner-y —...tables are very close together and the service is only ok. Note also that they close at 4pm and run out of certain items towards the end of the day. Definitely a great place to pick up food and head elsewhere to enjoy!More

Just stumbled across this place knew nothing about it. A lot of gluten-free items quaint little bakery/deli. I had the shepherd's pie small bowl of chicken vegetable soup and two pieces of their homemade buckwheat gluten-free bread with butter. It was excellent really enjoyed it....My wife had one of their veggie pancakes with pesto sauce and a side salad she enjoyed everybody.More

Enjoyed a very tasty and filling breakfast at Goodlife Cafe and Bakery in downtown Mendocino. I had their hearty breakfast burrito, consisting of 3 eggs, plus roasted potatoes, sausage, with guacamole, sour cream, and chunky salsa...very filling ...my wife had their vegetable quiche, also a...taste treat. Topped off my meal with a triple shot Americano, and my wife had a vanilla latte. Great way to start the day and fill up before our leisurely hike along the rustic and picturesque Mendocino Headlands. 👌More
