This place is great! Coming out of Yosemite we stopped in Mariposa and found Charles Street, and what good fortune that was. Great steaks, salad, lobster... lively staff and lovely presentation. Big city high end dining at a foothill price.
Passing through Mariposa our family felt a little hungry. After checking TripAdvisor we decided to give this place a shot. What a great total experience. We had a ten minute wait because the dining room was full of happy diners.

Very pleasant surprise. Nice, cosy atmosphere, friendly welcome and food was very good and enormous portions. You don't need to order a starter, as the mains come with copious sides and additions!
