In the land of hamburguers, placing one on top is a daunting task. But 1850 made it easy; they were clearly the opposite of fast food; cooked with care and very tasty. Will come back!

Ate dinner at 1850 around 5:30 p.m. Restaurant atmosphere was very pleasant, conducive to conversation, & afforded relative privacy to all diners (the sliding doors to separate tables are very cool.) There were many open tables (early on a Tuesday) & our waiter was present w/o hovering. Asked for recommendations for dinner - we all chose to go with what... More

Thank you for taking the time to review your experience while dining at our restaurant. I am so troubled that you experienced the fried chicken as you would've expected kids chicken strips. We take great pride in that dish, and it is very meticulously prepared. Our 10 ounce airline breast (bone in breast and Wong portion) is brined for several... More

This is a pretty small place, I counted 14 tables and booths; great during the off-season, but I might avoid it during the summer because of the limited seating. They have a small, quaint bar. Many menu items sounded great, but we settled on burgers. The steakhouse burger is great! Bacon, onion rings, and cheese sauce, and you'll need the... More

Hi Tim and Kathy, Thank you for stopping in for dinner and for taking the time to leave a review. We are so glad that you enjoyed your experience with us. From May to September we have a seasonal patio that opens, and we are able to double our seating capacity. It is still best to make a resveration though... More

Stopped for a late afternoon lunch. Seated in a booth by the hostess, we then went to the bar at the entrance and ordered and paid for our meals. Even though it wasn't busy, we waited awhile for our food but it was worth it. My tri-tip sandwich was delicious and my son's 1850 burger with a heaping side of... More

Service and food was great. I have never had fried chicken like theirs - amazingly good, and I would not typically order fried chicken. Beer selection was good too.

Overall a very well setup place. Very polite staff. Very well made meals at a mid range cost. Kids dinner of chicken strips & chips + surf and turf + baked mac and cheese cost 56USD

Stopped here on the way to Yosemite. Cozy decor and delicious burger and fries. A modern addition for an older small town.

The good; My burger & fries was cooked right and lots of flavor, mushroom soup was great. Atmosphere was warm and inviting. Hostess sat us quickly, waitress was on point and provided great service. The Bad; Hostess sat us at the closest table to the bathrooms even though there were other tables available further from the bathroom. Didn’t say anything... More

We were a large group - arriving at different times. Servers were very accommodating, friendly and attentive. Some of us were finishing our entrees when others arrived to order. For our group entrees ordered ranged from salads to burgers to full dinners. Fabulous burgers. My fish entree was very good.

After a while since visiting here, we returned just before thanksgiving. The steak and shrimp special was excellent, along with the soup and vegetables. Our server, Jared, was efficient, courteous, and prompt. Reasonable price for what we received. We will return again.
