After a wonderful long weekend in Mariposa visiting friends and exploring downtown, my husband and I wanted a healthful, delicious breakfast to power us through our day as we headed out of town. We were delighted to find this health food grocery and cafe. We...waited patiently for them to open, having arrived a few minutes before 8 am. We each ordered the French Camp sandwich, with a couple of changes. While we awaited our order, we explored the adjacent store, which seemed well-stocked and well-organized. Once seated, we watched the rain through the large windows in the cozy cafe, and admired the framed Ansel Adams photographs hanging on the wall. Ultimately our sandwiches were delicious, nutritious, and well-prepared. Two suggestions for the staff to improve their service. First, greet your customers cheerfully and welcome them. If customers are waiting for you to open up in the morning -- open the door for them and welcome them, rather than simply unlocking the door and walking away, as we were “greeted.” Second, pay attention to the details of the order and get them right the first time. We had to send back our sandwiches when they arrived on the default croissant, rather than on whole grain as we had ordered.More

The cafe is the best place for a fresh sandwich in Mariposa - fresh ingredients and fast service. For a small town, the store is surprisingly well-stocked with all your organic needs.

We enjoyed a quick lunch here leaving Yosemite a few weeks ago. Organic eateries/shops in the foothills are still a bit rare, and I'm glad we found this one. We enjoyed a sandwich in their simple, but clean eating area. We would visit again for...sure when we next pass through Mariposa.More

Large menu with good choices including vegetarian. Falafel sandwiches & the Waldorf Chicken are my favorites. They also have a well stocked health food store.

My buddy and I stopped here on the way to Yosemite. Perfect place to pick up a “sandwich to go” that can be enjoyed in Yosemite. But I especially want to thank the staff there for the wonderful way they helped me after I absent-mindedly...left my backpack there and didn’t realize it until I was in Yosemite. The staff saw that the backpack had a nice camera in it, and they kept it safe until I returned from the park. Great people, great food.More

This is a real grocery store with healthy choices, plus a great cafe and deli. Their sandwiches are excellent, their Totokon for $10 was fantastic

The quiche is fantastic and everyone should have a piece. The black bean enchiladas are also superb, but sometimes sell out due to their popularity.

Got myself a veggie burger, the Mariposa. Really saucy and yummy with good fresh veggies. Typically I'm a meat eater, but I do relish the chance to eat veggie when the option is available.

Great place to eat for someone who can’t eat gluten or doesn’t eat meat. Great quality fresh food. If I was ever coming back through I would make sure to stop in again. Wifi is great too.
