My family and I were travelling from Indiana out West to see the sights. We were on the road for 2 weeks and this was by far the best cup of coffee on the entire trip. You must stop if you like a great cup of coffee. I even put coffee in a contigo and it was still awesome 4 hours later. I may write them to see if I can buy some beans and have them sent to me. Enjoy!

If you like coffee then you must stop off here. My family really loved all the coffee drinks they had here. I also enjoyed the egg frittata they made. At first, I didn't even notice it so I almost passed up the frittata but I would highly recommend trying it, it is delicious.

Went here for coffee since we were staying at the motel across the street. Good coffees although I would have liked the option for oat milk or lactose free milk. Liked their quick to-go cups of oatmeal and their baked snacks items. Right off of Highway 49 so easy to park, grab and go

A beautiful morning with friends, a great cup of coffee, fabulous bagels made on the premises and you have the beginnings of a wonderful day. The shop is easily accessible off the main road and with the number of coffee sippers inside, you KNOW you have found the right spot. Great coffee with their beans roasted right there. When the wind blows just right, your nose says..gotta go in!

Great Coffee. Just enough options for anyone needing a good cup. Yummy oatmeal, croissants, chocolate chip cookie. Easy to eat in or take out. Love finding good cafes in small towns. Decent prices!

What a little gem!
Stopped in for an espresso after our stay at Autocamp. Was with my good friend from Italy who knows a proper espresso.
This little place roasts their own espresso with robusto and arabica beans.
Even the Italian said it was the best espresso on our two week trip through the US

Nice, cozy cafe with friendly staff. They offer a range of coffees from their own roast along with a few baked goods. Alas, though, no iced tea! Indoor and outdoor seating along with the usual wireless internet. It’s a refreshing change from the standard coffee shop.

Their coffee is so smooth and low on acidity with full bodied flavor. I had to go back and buy a few pounds of the Euro Dark. The pastries offered are high quality, delicious, and certainly well portioned. The staff is genuine, helpful, and very pleasant. They also offer mail service for their coffee. They’re a gem!

My hubby and I go here all the time...their pony blast is infinitely better than the Frappuccino at Starbucks. The staff is great and it’s just a sweet little coffee shop.
Most people will stop at the store or the-local diner to order the happy frap before realizing there’s this little place.. you are pretty much out of town when you reach this coffee spot. If you want great coffee good quiche or tiramisu just drive on through town and look for the yellow building

I stayed at a motel across the street, saw this little place, and went in a couple of times to get something -- anything -- better than motel-room coffee. It was good! Prices are about the same as that big Seattle chain, kind of expensive I thought; but it was a cozy little place to sit for a spell.

Pony Expresso and Coffee Roaster is located on Hwy 49 near the Hwy 140 intersection at the north end of the town of Mariposa. This is a neat little coffee shop open from 6am to 6pm (Mon-Fri) and 7am to 3pm (Sat-Sun). There is a fair sized carpark just beside the coffee shop.
We visited recently and enjoyed two well made double espressos at Pony Express. They offer an expected range of coffee drinks and have containers of ready brewed coffee for those on the go. A handful of bakery food items were on offer at the counter as well.
In addition to the good espressos we liked the eclectic decor and seating of Pony Expresso. There was good music being played during our visit as well. You'll also find a small outdoor seating area, probably nice for evenings when weather is good.
Overall, a good vibe and relaxing place to enjoy coffee drinks is what we found at Pony Expresso during our visit. Would gladly return if we passed through Mariposa again.
