We all thought as a family the food and service was very good so I am surprised they are not rated higher. They have a Sunday brunch but we ordered off the menu and everything tasted good and filling. $52 for four with drinks including tax. Good value and good tasting!

We had a very hungry and crabby 7 year old boy and our waitress let him get food off the Salad bar for free. All of us enjoyed our meals and the waitress brought tiny cups of ice cream with whipped cream for the boys. We were so impressed with her friendliness that my husband actually gave her a hug... We had dinner after an afternoon of ziplining. My husband had a ribeye steak, my son had salmon and I had chicken alfredo. So we basically tried a little bit of everything. It was all delicious. It's not inexpensive but it was worth it. The salad bar was good too. Then we had breakfast the next morning before we drove... More

The food is typical tourist fare, nicely cooked and presented but already fading from memory 3 days later. Staff pleasant but didnt seem happy we turned up 15 minutes before closing

The Miners Roadhouse did not blow us away. There was not a lot of restaurant choices after coming off the mountain in the evening. I had the fish and chips and it was slightly over cooked as was my grand daughters chicken strips. My wife had a salad because she really couldn't find anything she liked on the menu. The... More

We came here hoping for a full-fledged meal that wasn't outrageously expensive, and we weren't disappointed. The waitress was very kind, helpful, and attentive. We ordered beef stroganoff. While it didn't taste like any beef stroganoff I've ever eaten before, it was very tasty! Salad was fresh and crisp.

We arrived late in Mariposa on a Sunday and Miners Roadhouse seemed to be the only place open, so we had a late dinner of wine/beer and Doritos. But the restaurant next to the bar looked good and we had breakfast there the next morning. They had a varied menu, the service was efficient and friendly and the good really... More

Not a big menu, but a nice variety. They do have a kid's menu which is nice. The breakfast buffet on Sunday morning was real good. Enjoyed all our meale there.

Our hotel offered a "hot breakfast" which wasn't very appetizing. So we chose a sit down place with more options and real food. Miner's Roadhouse was the real deal. Simple offerings, fresh, good service and just the right thing to energize us for the day.

Better than classic all-American fare. We had a dinner and a breakfast here and both were really good. Serious shrimp on the Shrimp Louie, Loved the poached eggs on hashbrowns variation of Eggs Benedict. Good coffee, good service, reasonable prices... AND a model train that runs on a ledge just below the ceiling. We also spent part of the evening... More
