We visited on 4th July and had an excellent meal. The restaurant is open air beyond the frontage but it's not cold as there are plenty of patio heaters. Food was excellent, service fantastic and at a fair price. High recommended.

Make it a point to visit this place. Fresh homemade Italian food and the location is right off Venice beach. Beautiful. They also have a nightly singalong that is fun. Great place. Will visit again!!

Service was great, little, garlic rolls constantly brought to your table, and the wine list is good with large vats on a trust system, help, yourself and tell the waiter. Shirt ribs pasta, the nest and most unusual pasta I have ever eaten

Went there with hubby and two other couples on a beautiful Southern California evening. The atmosphere is really fun and the patio where we were sitting is really cute. They have lots of options and the food, which is old style Italian, is very good. Service was excellent. They served us yummy garlic knots while we were waiting for our... More

We had a very large group, as many other did as well, and this place provided our group with a good long table. We did not feel jammed together and everyone had enough room. The food was excellent from the little garlic balls to each dish. The waiter staff was on top of our 18 party group to bringing waters,... More

I've been here twice in five years with large groups (this time 20, last time 40+). Great experience. Food is good quality, not too fancy but lots of options from pasta to meats. Garlic knots are addicting. Monday night is 1/2 price bottles of wine, which is a fabulous deal. Our table enjoyed gnocchi, some simple pasta dishes, the special... More

We didn't have reservations but luckily we had a short wait! I would recommend having reservations though! Our waitress Rachel was very friendly! The food was good and the garlic knots were to die for! If you are in Venice you should definitely eat here.

Started with the garlic knots on the table and red wine. Went with a group of eight and had reservations which helped. Had to stop eating the garlic knots to save room for dinner. Most of us ordered the lasagna. It was wonderful. Huge portions! Took half home for leftovers. Will definitely go back soon.

Got off an airplane starving. Decided to have Italian food. We couldn't have picked a better place. Heaping plates of garlic bread not brought to your table and constantly refilled. Large portions and all delicious. Eggplant lasagna out of this world. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Cheese cake desert was perfect.

Description
C&O Trattoria (C&O) has been open since 1969. Now a well known Venice Beach landmark, serving Northern Italian breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. It has become known for good food and friendly service in a relaxed garden setting. On May 1, 1993, C & O Trattoria officially opened a Northern Italian concept, unlike any other in Los Angeles, serving gargantuan portions of high quality Northern Italian pastas at unbelievably low prices. Add our "Killer Garlic Rolls," nightly sing along, honor wine bar, and friendly team service and you have the C & O Trattoria, one of LA's premier Northern Italian eateries.
