Excellent and varied choices on the menu. Enjoy your meal without crowding or have the feeling of being rushed.

If you like loud obnoxious people dropping f-bombs than this is your place. This place is as low class as it gets. Better lower your standards. There was a large group of people seated quite a few tables away from us in the patio are....They were so loud we could barely hear each other. We complained to the manager, Adam Weber who was useless. The table next to us also complained, as well as other tables. We had our daughter with us and we were quite embarrassed to have brought her to such a disgusting place. She could not believe the behavior of these grown adults. It was more like a bar than a restaurant. Apparently the large group are locals and the restaurant caters to them. They could care less about hotel guests. Rather than have a talk with the large group about their fowl language and obnoxiously loud behavior the manager offered to move us away from our view table and seat us inside. He expected us to accommodate the large group rather than address their obnoxious behavior. That was not an option in our book. Their behavior was unacceptable on all levels and needed to be handled. They should have been seated in a private room, as to not disturb everyone around them. It gets so much worse, but I am going to leave it right there. When our dinner arrived we decided that we had had enough. The managers poor handling of the situation literally drove us away. We got up and left our dinner on the table and we checked out of the Ritz Carlton. We checked into a lovely no-nonsense, professionally managed hotel in Beverly Hills that does not tolerate this ridiculousness. We will never return to this poorly run, low class establishment. This will go down as the worst Ritz Carlton restaurant that we have ever been to. The menu is also extremely limited. Nothing really impressive on the menu. We did enjoy the fried cauliflower and marinated olives, but that's it. The menu fell short and was very disappointing. We will never return to the poorly managed establishment.More

This is my neighborhood go to for a quick drink or meal. Whether a business lunch or a weekend brunch with friends/family, this place does NOT disappoint! The food is great and the views are incredible. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The hostess,...Elizabeth, is especially sweet! We come here with our toddler so we ask them to turn off the fire on the table. They also have a kids menu so be sure to ask for it. :)More

Great restaurant in the Ritz Carlton, was able to sit outside with the marina view. Food and wine was excellent. Would recommend to anyone staying at the hotel for an close meal, otherwise you have to walk or drive to other restaurants.

The woman I'm dating lives in Marina del Rey, and she wanted to try the Cast & Plow. I was hesitant since I couldn't find a menu on-line. So, we decided to go for a drink, and check out the menu. The bar/restaurant had us...at Hello! A large space with couches and chairs to our right, perfect for having a drink and relaxing to begin the evening! The menu looked enticing, so we stayed for Dinner. The service is exactly what you'd expect at a 5-Star hotel property! The Host was excellent! He explained our options politely and was gracious and kind to everyone I heard him speak with. The bartender was also friendly and efficient. He worked with us to get us the exact beverages we desired! The drinks were almost $20 for call liquor, but you get what you pay for! Our server, Samantha, was also outstanding! She explained the menu well, was quite attentive, and very nice. My date and I decided to order the salmon and the steak and to share both. It was great that Samantha advised the kitchen to divide them up for us, to serve on separate plates. The food was out of this world! Every bite was a tasty experience! We started with the Tuna Credo, it was incredible! The salmon was flaky and flavorful! The steak was done just right, it was tender and delicious! For dessert, my date chose the Creme Brulee with berries. What a yummy way to finish a tremendous dinner! She and I will definitely be back! Give them a try, you will enjoy a fabulous dining experience!More

First I want to acknowledge a wonderful staff person. Her name is Kat. She was attentive, polite and gave good menu advice. I also observed her interactions with her peers. Kat made my dinner experience memorable. Also, the food was amazing. Fresh tasting and delicious....We will be returning.More

So I am not a big fan of over paying for food. However, when I am on travel within California it just seems as though food just cost more here.... So this trip I once again stayed at the Ritz Carlton Marina Del Rey, which...is rated a #7 hotel, and absolutely deserves the rating. The restaurant within the hotel is named Cast & Plow. For more than one night I needed food without having time to order out so with that said this night I opted for the Scallops...$42.00 which I consider on the high end of expense rate. With that said the scallops were cooked perfectly and for that I feel the dish was worth the money. I felt the sauce worked better with the vegetables, however I found myself going back to it in the end even with the scallops. For dessert I opted for the Ritz Carlton Cake. If you are a dessert fan this is the one for you. Sort of like a chocolate pate with Grand Marnier soaked chocolate cake within....Order it with extra raspberry sauce. You cannot go wrong! The staff at this hotel is unreal so be prepared to be treated as you would expect from a hotel that has obtained this level.More

Come here for the view! A very cozy spot with heat lamps and fires. Grilled cheese was great! Cocktails were average but pricey

Really average food, which was pretty disappointing, considering this is the main restaurant at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Marina Del Rey. The popcorn shrimp appetizer was oversauced and too salty. The ribeye steak was cooked well (a well-executed medium rare) but then destroyed with an...overly salty sweet potato hash and herbed butter. The views from the restaurant are quite nice as you overlook the marina, and at night they light up the fire pits and that adds some really nice warmth to the whole space.More

This Ritz restaurant offers amazing views in a comfortable setting. However, the service is pretty slow and sometimes absent. At one of our breakfasts, the server has not stop by our table until we requested her towards the end of our experience. The breakfast buffet...is not on par with such an expensive and luxurious property.More

The view and place is beautiful. The food selection is too limited for such a nice restaurant and for the price. Had to ask for tomatoes to go with the lox and bagels. Service and attitude of the wait staff needs improvement. Paying for the...view and convenient location in the hotel. Service needs to be high quality too as it was lacking.More

An attractive place to eat but the wait staff was incredibly slow! Trying to get coffee in the morning was a struggle. And of course, the prices are high. Nice view, though.

Nice views and delicious foods. One can order off menu, or have the buffet for $28. For the buffet offerings and quality, the price is not too expensive. All the food was delicious,, fresh, and deserving of Ritz=Carlton quality.

Located next to the Marina in the Ritz Carlton in Marina Delray . Very scenic and pleasant location with great ambience . We had breakfast with a glowing , gas lit fireplace on the table while watching the yachts bobbing in the bay in the...early morning sun. Food was very good and the service superb. Mr Carlos was extra helpful to our grandkids and also to my special cousinsry requests . The menu while not exhaustive was well thought out and catered well to our family's needsMore
