Went here two days for breakfast, great variety and generous portions. They open at 7.30 so that helps if you are an early starter. The service is quick , its clean and the food is done well. Other options are available for lunch and dinner

The food here is wonderful. A mixture of Cuba with an Asian touch. My favorite is Ropa Vieja. But the menu is good! Happy late at night is great too.

The rating I gave is mainly because of the service. I ordered a breakfast, the eggs were raw, the bacon was a bit burnt and the pancake wasn't tasty. The waitresses had bad attitude and were less than willing to help when we asked and seems like they didn't want to serve our table.

I was expecting a place with a better food. The service is good but the food average. I ordered the Steak tacos and the the steak was without flavor. The tortilla breaks very easy. The best part of the meal was the beans that comes with the meal. I ordered artichoke dip that never arrived to the table hahaha

I was staying up the street at an inn and the desk clerk suggested Mercedes Grill for brunch. It was so good I went back the next day and had the same meal: avocado toast. My wife had egg and cheese on a Cuban roll. Good coffee. We ate outside and enjoyed watching the parade of people to and from... More

Went here for breakfast on a friends recommendation and we were not dissapointed. Happened to hit this place at breakfast happy hour (half price omelettes) so seemed foolish not to sample one each. Best omelette i have ever eaten in my life, i had the politically correct (spinach, mushrooms, chicken sausage and goats cheese) while my husband opted for the... More

The food here is fabulous, perfectly spiced and lots of it. Service is impeccable and drinks are potent. Great place for drinks and appetizers or a full meal.

I had only one dish, but it was very good: the Cuban sandwich. Wine was OK, service was reasonably efficient. The location a few feet away from Venice Beach is certainly convenient for tourists like me. Street parking nearby was manageable.

Went for lunch with very mixed results. Service, location and atmosphere is very good. Great people watching while sitting outside.. Good- the Cuban sandwich was very good with the only fault being way too much mustard. Eggs Benedict were over cooked and Hollandaise sauce was sparse, cold and lacking flavor. Fried fish sandwich and fries were solid but did not... More

If you like to people watch (and what an array of people to watch!) you will love it here. Food is great, location is superb. Service could be better but who knows, with so much to watch, you won't notice.
