The food is awesome. If your looking for seafood , this is your place. My husband and I ate there twice on our 5 day trip.

Get there early for a seat on the balcony harbor side. Very pleasant view. Seats, though, are marginally comfortable. Quick service. Good standard eggs and toast for breakfast.

Great SEAFOOD Restaurant! The lobster mac and cheese was to die for. Super creamy and rich and had plenty of lobster in it. The clam chowder soup was out of this world. Creamy and hearty with lots of ingredients. Not runny like at other places....The lobster roll dinner was huge. Gave you a clowslaw and a huge serving of sweet potato fries. Huge portions and decent prices. Will definitely be back again.More

We had a mixed experience here- but not enough positives to make us want to ever return. Decent appetizer (poke tacos), terrible cocktail which was refunded and inedible kids spaghetti which was not refunded. Inedible spaghetti? Truly. First served without marinara, which was later delivered...cold in its own dish and eventually heated. Once marinara was added we found the dish was full of water hiding beneath the pasta. Lobster roll was fair, bathrooms were filthy.More

I've been going to Killer Shrimp for 27+ years - as far back as their days in Studio City at Colfax and Ventura Blvd. I decided to celebrate a birthday lunch today. I was placed on their waiting list for 45 mins. I was OK...waiting - no problem. I waited patiently for close to an hour until I began to see people - who CLEARLY had walked in after we did - begin to get seated. When we spoke to the hostess, she claimed it was because we had asked for a window seat (???). When we made it clear we wanted 1st available, she changed the request. Then, MORE folks started to get seated - but not us. After 1 hr and 15 mins we asked again when we would be seated. We were told there were 2 groups ahead of us (???) HOW? And more importantly WHY? I asked to speak to the Manager. A tall, Caucasian, older man eventually came out. In short, I was fed uncaring, unsympathetic, canned BS answers as to why we weren't being seated. In an argumentative tone, he scolded me that I wouldn't know why those people were being seated and they could've been there before I got there (as though this was my first time ever waiting at a restaurant). What the manager forgot is that customers speak to each other ... and they tell each other when they got to the restaurant, so I knew matter-of-factly that he was dead wrong. The manager continued to belittle me, and after noticing that the situation was only worsening - besides, I wasn't in the mood to have my intelligence further insulted - I decided to end the conversation. I also decided to leave. More importantly, after 27+ years, I also decided *never* to return to a place that no longer cared for my business or treated its customers like fools. It's a shame. Killer Shrimp used to be a place I could count on to have a decent meal. I now realize that over the years I was making excuses for their lack of customer service, lack of cleanliness, and lack of class simply for the sake of nostalgia. There are better places with better service than to be treated the way we were. I used to rave about this restaurant. No more. As the saying goes, "For every negative comment made, you need five positive comments to make up the difference." I will guarantee Killer Shrimp that they will need well more than 5 positive comments to make up for the amount of negative comments they'll be getting from me going forward. Lastly, please also look up the negative comments on Yelp - those reviews are much more accurate as to how this place truly treats its customers.More

Got the Shrimp PO Boy. The shrimp made the sandwich. In fact who cares about the sandwich. All about the shrimp.

Came for dinner since we were in a hotel across the street and didn't want to drive anywhere. The food was divine! Started with lobster mac and cheese. We all got varying shrimp bowls which were amazingly tasty. The bowls were full of broth and...do flavorful. Pretty spicy and we could not get our servers to give us refills when needed. (one of the reasons for a 4/5). My wife said the restrooms were gross. Like urine on the seats and a terrible smell. She said the restrooms at the pier were cleaner (another reason for a 4/5).More

I've tried several thin Gs on you, App but the only thing that really brings it home or the shrimp. I recommend that you have them peeled and order some extra bread because the broth is fantastic. This is a go to place for shrimp...but mediocre otherwise. When the restaurant was open, the w was aitinappropriateMore
