While this restaurant isn't truly hidden, it is very tiny and located right on Lincoln Blvd in a very unassuming building. They focus mainly on Northwestern Italian dishes I think, but all the food I've had there is always delicious. The Pappardelle al Cinghiale they serve is delicious, and truly reminiscent of what I had in Sienna. The wine list... More

This is a very, very small restaurant. Smaller than it appears to be on its website pictures. Our table was just a foot away from the next table over and the one behind us. Lots of wait staff, however we waited 10 minutes before we finally had to ask someone to take our drink order, let alone acknowledge our presence.... More

Absolutely spot on! A dream meal. The chef is out of wonderland; like finding a wonderworld for a foodie. Small, romantic, quaint, and Italy in those walls. Call for a table, but if you show there is a valet parking lot.

The owner is a friendly guy as was the staff. That is great, but then the food also was excellent. Put service and quality food together and you've got an excellent restaurant. Make that restaurant with high-quality Italian food and I'm there! It is expensive, so I cannot afford to go often, but if I were a CEO then I'd... More

We went for our anniversary dinner and had a great experience. Small restaurant that is quiet. Every dish was good and the service was excellent. Good wine list. Three double lamb chops cooked exactly to order.

Just off Lincoln, this little Amalfi style restaurant with a rustic ambience features a great menu and genial Italian staff that aims to please. The wine selection is impressive.

This restaurant has very authentic Italian food that is really very fresh and delicious. Some of my favorite dishes are the muscles in spicy tomato sauce and the beef carpaccio. Have those 2 items with some fresh bread and a couple glasses of red wine and you are good. Some of the pasta dishes can be on the rich side... More

Pretty space - small and can get quite noisy. Excellent wine selection at various price points. Reservations are taken - but aren't really observed - it's basically first come first served even if you have a reservation. Lot of regulars which is generally a good sign. Tried 3 different pastas and they were each excellent. Scallops were also very good.... More

What a surprise on busy Lincoln. Small location. Not more than a dozen tables We arrived at 5 since we were still on East Coast time. They don't open until 530. They were nice enough to let us in until they were ready and serve us a bottle of wine while we waited. Very nice calamari and shrimp app followed... More

Great little Italian restaurant in Los Angeles for a night out. Be sure you try the Rigatoni Al Sugo Di Manzo. Incredible dish!

Staying in Venice

Neighborhood Profile
Venice has always danced to its own beat as the epicenter of bohemian culture in Los Angeles. Along the boardwalk there are street performers and local craftsmen selling their wares. Original paintings, souvenirs, and jewelry are on display. Crowds of visitors marvel at the sites while weightlifting enthusiasts pump iron in plain view, and skateboarders do their tricks around the skate park. All of it happens under the warm California sun with sprawling views of sand and sea. Heading east, the main drags of Abbot Kinney Boulevard and Main Street are lined with boutique shops, some major retail stores, art galleries and restaurants. Here the ambiance is more relaxed and upscale than the frenetic boardwalk area. Venice is a mostly walkable (and certainly bikeable) neighborhood, full of areas to explore.
