Classic spot for some sushi. Came here for lunch on a group of four and there is free parking available. We didn’t have a reservation and it was about a 20 minute wait for a table on a Saturday around 12:30pm. I had the Trust...Me and everyone else had the Nozawa Trust Me’s, which came with about four extra pieces of sushi. The fish is fresh and the courses are parceled out. Met business colleagues and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We had a combination of novices and seasoned sushi lovers and no one was disappointed. We ordered the combination that was not detailed but that was probably the best sushi I’ve had stateside! Even the...edamame starter was well seasoned and sufficient serving to whet the appetite. The interior of the restaurant is on the austere side. But that is also the only thing that might be a little less. Our welcome was warm and friendly, and although we had no reservation, we could get a table within minutes. Besides lunch, trust...me's menus, you can also choose a la carte sushi and sashimi. The tuna sashimi was fresh and flavorful, and the Toro, Crab, and Lobster cut rolls were perfectly prepared. If you are in the area, I recommend this restaurant.More
Great sushi, no really the sushi is delightful! Coming from Canada I expected it to be more expensive like everything else in LA but was pleased to enjoy a high quality multi course meal for a similar price to what can be expected in Vancouver...BC. We both enjoyed the don't think just eat chefs choice for $60usd each.More
Tried the Manhattan Beach store first, then been to the Marina del Rey store several times since then. Consistent quality. Very good fish. The ponzu sauce is very good, but the rice tends to fall apart. Not a big deal, but you should be aware...of that. The handrolls are outstanding with the crisp nori wrapped around them. I've had the "Don't Think, Just Eat," but have gotten into the pattern of ordering the Trust Me, and adding on another handroll. My wife orders the Trust Me, and adds on the Hokkaido sea scallops. For lunch it comes in at just under $100. We usually eat outside on the patio. Service is excellent. The consistency of the rice is very good.More

This is in the small outdoor mall in Marina Del Rey. We had them deliver to our hotel. This is very good sushi which is served in a cute to go box. I am a recent sushi convert and I wish they had this in...Seattle. It was really worth having again. My daughter went for a “trust me box” they pick the choices of sashimi and rolls and will never have trust issues with this place…it was all good.More
One the last restaurants we dined in before covid. Great sushi. Trust me was so great i ordered a second. As a sushi connisuer I highly recommend sugar fish. Every morsel was great.
I thought it was good, fresh, but small and overpriced for the amount of food that we received, with the tax and then they charge you 16% fee which they say it’s a no tipping restaurant but the 16% fee is a tip. They need...a system to circle what you are eating. They have pictures inside the top flap of the box but nothing was circled to let us know what the choices were of the sashimi and sushi was. I am a really good tipper and because of this whole pandemic I’ve been to be like 30 to 40% but I want to be my choice not theirs. I really do feel the pain for our Restaurants and small businesses and people need to start waking up to see what we are doing to those smaller places.More

Famous for great seafood this restaurant delivers their promise. I personally don’t eat fish and thought I would have nothing to eat...a great steak and the best cheese burger ever...enjoy
It's my first visit after hearing so many great comments about this restaurant. There are 3 set-menus: Trust-Me, Trust-Me Lite, and Nozawa-Trust-Me. We ordered the Trust-Me that was served as multiple entries by the waiter in a timely manner. The food is so delicious that...our plates were completely clean after each entry. The waiter also replaced new plates of gingers and wasabi at our table every time we finished them. The service is outstanding from the time we were seated at the table to the time we walked out the restaurant. I definitely plan to visit it again when I am in the area.More
I went there with my dad and the fish is weird, the food was very average, no dessert options, but the wait-staff was nice.
Been coming here for years now. Superbly friendly staff. Freshness of the food/ fish never fails. Ambiance is great. Get ready for a long wait ( 1 1/2 hour or longer is a norm). Strongly recommend it! If you are pay check to pay check...kinda person, visit it sparingly. otherwise, come everyday, it's that good!More
