Daily specials, always a featured soup . Nice size portions. They have recently begun serving suppers.

Long ago I had breakfast and lunch at Tico's. My second cousin goes here for breakfast each time that he comes from San Diego to participate in the motorcycle races which are held at Laguna Seca. He's raved about Tico's in terms of items created and served as well as the reasonable price. I, on the other hand, have had... More

A small, casual restaurant in a strip mall. I didn't know what to expect for such a "Hole in the Wall" place. The orange juice was fresh squeezed(amazing). All the breakfast choices we had were all excellent from the Eggs Benedict to the Mexican omelette. The ingredients were fresh, flavor spot on, and attention paid to details. Overall I was... More

Ticos is a tiny little restaurant behind an Asian grocery store on Reservation Road. Although the sign says it's open for breakfast and lunch only, it IS open for dinner. It's a cute place with attentive service. The food is standard American fare. Their homemade marmalade is available to take home.

Let me start by saying that the food is delicious, well-prepared, superbly fresh quality ingredients cooked with skill and plated with care at an incredible price point. That being said, the downsides: 1) music will make you think you've been transported to the waiting room to purgatory 2) decor is pretty spartan, I don't usually mind this, but something in... More

Breakfast was wonderful, especially the fres apple fritters!! Service was excellent, restaurant is small and very clean with frsh flowers on each table. Not fancy but a true gem. A bit hard to find the first time but definitely worth the effort.

This little restaurant is tucked away in a little shopping center behind a oriental market. The food here is always fresh and delightful to look at. The owner and chef takes pride in the appearance of all his dishes and you will be pleasantly pleased. The restaurant itself is small and clean and run by there entire family. I've enjoyed... More

It is amazing how difficult it is to find a restaurant that serves a true French style omelet or one that makes eggs Benedict with a Hollandaise sauce that is tasty. Tico's is that rarest of restaurants that does an exceptional job with both and it is why my wife and I will drive 30 miles from our house to... More

I went there for breakfast based on high reviews. I was disappointed, finding it to be just ok. The staff was efficient but not at all personable. The food was fine; coffee not drinkable.

My brother just reconfirmed my last findings this is a great place for breakfast. He like the apple fritters, but I prefer the crab omelet. The place is very small and fills up fast, but it is work the wait. A little hard to find.

Thank James S
