I have gone there for lunch 3 times now in the last several months and have not been disappointed at all. Ordered several items from their lunch special and they have been tasty and filling. I had their calzone, personal pizza and sub sandwich. All...came with drink and the sub came with chips. Everyone who has gone with me have been pleased with the food and the service. The only downside is they charge a 50 cent fee for using a card to pay.More

My family was in Manhattan Beach on vacation and Brooklyn Brickoven Pizza was just down the street. The pizza's we ordered were very good. Also had a cannoli that was very solid as well. I suspected and it was confirmed the owners are actually from...NYC.More

The best pizza I have ever had! A small family restaurant, and everyone was very nice and helpful. Excellent service and great pizza and cannolis. I definitely will be back next time I am in Southern California.

This is close to the real thing. Fresh made pizza dough and fresh ingredients. Stopped in for lunch and had the lunch special. 2 XL Cheese slices and a small soda ($6.00). The pizza was very tasty and not greasy. They have an extensive menu...and a nice micro brew beer selection. Looks like a classic NY pizza joint but with a friendly staff. Ample free parking in the back.More

It’s a simple place but the pizza is the best one I have ever ate! My girl was with me and had the same opinion! I will be back, certainly!

This is a nice neighborhood pizza joint. The place is a little old and rundown like the pizza joints in NY and Philly. The pizza is good thin and hand made.

My boyfriend use to come here all the time because he was from the neighborhood years ago and loved it. With that in mind we decided to check it out. Wow never again! We ordered half pineapple, ham the other half sausage and mushrooms. The...pizza was salty with hardly any toppings or sauce. It was like eating bad tasting bread. It was just aweful.More

Go see Bobby, he will take care of you. Close your eyes and you will not realize you are in Los Angeles. Son of a baker, he can tell you the stories, and he knows how to make the dough correctly to achieve a NYC...style, with Los Angeles water. Recommend you give this place a try but don't set your expectations at the "dining out level," more like "let's have a pie and get a pitcher." ENJOY!More

I was optimistic, I'm from Brooklyn ... I went one mid afternoon ... the place was empty. The pizza slice I had was "ok", edible, no stringy cheese, no special sauce ... but I was hungry, it's hard to get bad pizza ... this was...just ok. I'm a regular guy, but I must say I was a little offended by some of the racial and sexist comments the owner/manager/employees were making about the NFL ... c'mon guys ... know your audience, and if you don't ... don't make the comments you did in front of customers. Summary: It's ok, decent pizza that you'll find "fine", but if you're looking for something special ... this ain't the place.More
