My husband and I had massages scheduled at the Sand Spa, located right next door. The Local Yolk was a perfect spot to grab a quick bite beforehand. The biscuits are a MUST try. They are warm and fluffy and completely delightful with butter and honey. We also enjoyed the oatmeal and fresh fruit bowl. The environment was friendly.

Great place for breakfast when I was a kid, and still a great place. Go hungry, because the portions are very big.

Thoroughly appreciated the extensive menu. Settled on the Jalapeno hash with poached eggs. Absolutely great! Also enjoyed the big homemade biscuits with honey. Great people, great setting, great good. The perfect place in Manhattan Beach!

This used to be a favorite when we lived in this area so we thought we'd visit It For old times sake. QIt took quite a while for us to be greeted after sitting down. For the most part the food was really good however I don't recommend bacon on your omelet as mine came in crumbles; almost as if... More

This is an older establishment and the food is average. But if you are staying at that end of Manhattan Beach is it convenient and you get lots of food for your dollars.

Loved the menu, did NOT love the service. We waited forever after being seated to a) order and b) receive our food. That being said, the food was delicious and would love to go back if the service was better.

This place is a must try. Locallu operated, and the food was amazing. Get the Jalepeno hash, extra crispy., you will not regret it, especially after a night of drinking

Been going here for years. Staff is always the same and very accommodating and friendly. Reasonable prices for a beach community breakfast spot.

Went here with friends one Sunday morning. The place was packed. We waited for a table and one opened up in about 15 minutes. The place has that small, local diner feel. On Sunday morning, the wait staff was very busy, as every table was occupied. We all ordered great dishes (my friends had been here many times and knew... More

Really great staff and food. But quite pricey for diner food. (That being said, we did go twice!) Pancakes may beat out Uncle Bill's...
