you would never expect the food to be this good in this little hidden gem on the corner of Rosecrans and Highland Ave on Manhattan Beach. we stopped real quick and were completely satisfied! Some of the friendliest and welcoming workers in there. I could recommend the Tacos, Burritos, etc... and I seriously don't think you'll go wrong with any... More

Authentic Mexican food - small eating bar but best for takeout. California burrito is yummy as are their tacos. Definitely worth stopping in if you are staying in Manhattan Beach!

We drove 15 minutes from LAX to visit this restaurant, recommended by a friend. Well worth it! Tiny hole-in-the-wall place where you order at the counter with bar-style seating -- but there is a whole terrace upstairs for those in the know. Enjoyed a delish burrito with carne asada and fries inside! While my family enjoyed the chicken burritos. Huge!... More

Stopped by to grab a quick burrito and decided to stay for the atmosphere. Had the Deluxe Burrito with beans, melted cheese, served wet. Beef chunks huge and sauce amazing!

I used to live in Manhattan Beach and work in El Segundo, so we ate here very frequently. This is the best Mexican food I found in SoCal while I lived there for nearly 20 years. My favorite menu item is the Jr. Super Deluxe Burrito with ground beef. There is nothing Jr. About it though. Don't let the name... More

Our favorite late night stop..been coming here for years and we call is dirty tacos...don't know why...just stuck. Salsa is so good, wet burrito, beans , rice, chilli rellano and shredded chix tacos.. Great for mid day lunch or a hangover or late night . We never miss it when in town

Only a few blocks from Manhattan Beach. Only a little bar to sit at but the food and atmosphere is one of a kind. Food is excellent! Service was exceptional! I had a potato taco with a cheese enchilada and rice and beans and a side of guac (really really yummy guacamole) for $15! Well worth a stop if you're... More

Such a tiny little place on the south side of Rosecrans, blink and you will miss it. Watch for the bright yellow paint. Throw a quarter in the meter and you will have plenty of time to order, get your food and return to your parking-ticket-free car. These guys are fast, good and their burritos are #1 and their salsa...que... More

So, El Tarasco is another local favorite. They have great Mexican Food but serve no alcohol. The place is small, and there is a long counter with stools. There are counters in the windows as well, with other stools there. Most locals will call in orders and take out.

The carne asada tacos, street style (cilantro, onions and green salsa ONLY) were amazing. The food and service was quick and and great. its not a big place, so try getting in mid-afternoon and grab a great bite to eat.
