3 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

we went a large party and ordered several items. we shared dishes like the salmon, buffalo chicken sandwich, a pasta dish, and a salad dish, didnt really care for any one in particular. Its not terrible food by definately nothing worth coming back for, at least lunch. The location sells the food IMO.

First off, the location was great. The staff was super nice. The food was damn good and it wasn't too expensive. My wife had the corn chowder with salad (she got the petit salad and it was huge, I can't imagine the regular size). I had the the crab cakes po boy. We got the appetizer zucchini Parmesan sticks which... More

This isn't a gourmet place, but it's a fun touristy place with views and breezes (from the porch) of the ocean. The menus shows a good deal of variety, and I understand the place is open 24 hours. Our salads were yummy, though we ordered a side of sweet potato fries which filled our bellies before the salads came. The... More

The Kettle is an excellent mid-range restaurant with a huge menu. Our food was excellent and portions large. The Crab Louie salad had a nice mound of blue crab on it for under $15. We sat on the outdoor patio, which wraps around the corner of the building. Nice little touches like fresh flowers on every table. Service was awesome... More

It's a must to visit The Kettle!!!! It's low key and a quirky diner. As a local, I must say its my go to standard. Thursdays they have the best cheddar broccoli soup and everyday they have killer French onion soup and tortilla soup (obviously, I like their soup) they have indoor and outdoor seating. Be patient, there is usually... More

The Kettle is an institution in Manhattan Beach. They have been serving great food for many years--24 hours a day! Some of the most-crowded times are breakfast/brunch on the weekends (and holidays), so try to avoid those; they serve breakfast anytime, so you don't have to go when they're crowded!

The Kettle deserves every great review. Our food was exceptional. I had a BLT with avocado and I think it's the best sandwich I've ever had. Manhattan Beach has a gem in this restaurant. Check it out folks, you won't be disappointed!!

This place is open 24hrs and had been recommended by our hotel. We visited for breakfast and were not disappointed. Sizeable portions - though this reflects the cost. We were travelling with teenagers and there was something for everyone - from pancakes to cooked breakfast to fruit & granola. Always a busy place and enjoyed our meal.

Good food. A local icon in the area. Still outstanding, but a bit pricy for a family. Takes a little while to get the food but worth the wait.
