We stumbled across Kristy's while making our way to Zuma beach & were pleasantly surprised to find breakfast service! The food was delicious - a fresh fruit plate followed by a non-greasy and very tasty cooked breakfast while seated on a deck overlooking Zuma beach. Staff were friendly & helpful. Highly recommended.

With views down towards Zuma beach, this family run restaurant was superb. We were served by the proprietors, Father & Son team, and they were good fun whilst also being super attentive ... the food was delicious & faultless ... highly recommend the chefs specials as we tried most of them between us and all were amazing ... So, if... More

We arrived to our accommodation and were recommended Kristys due to it being within walking distance. We arrived and were a little worried as it is in the corner of a hotel / motel and you have to walk past the pool to get to the restaurant. It was fairly nice inside but quite basic, the menu came and we... More

We always have a good meal here. Even had a french fry pizza (sounds awful) but was really good (kids choice). Patio looks out over Zuma Beach. Far better than pretentious sushi joint down the road near the pier. No attitude, quiet, and reliably tasty all the time.

If Kristy's had quick service, I would bring my clients often! The location is beautiful, the staff is very nice, the food is good, but last time we were there it took at least an hour to be served a lunch! Which might be good for lots of folks, as the view is beautiful & you can hang out &... More

My husband surprised me here by stopping for a mid afternoon snack. What a wonderful little secret this place is! Wine list really nice, fish and chips delicious. Mushroom pizza...cheese was too strong. But the crust was perfect. Lovely view of the mountains and ocean on the back patio. Really enjoyed it...relaxing and wonderful

We had a lovely lunch and drinks here. Good location a short walk to the beach. We were made to feel very welcome and enjoyed our food.

The hotel was terrible but the saving grace was the restaurant next door which had great food and a great sunset view form the outdoor patio.

This is our choice for eating with friends and family, They have a great chocolate cake that my wife orders to take out at least once a month. Very close to Zuma beach but does not have the traffic noise and parking problems that other Malibu Restraunts have

Staying in Malibu

Neighborhood Profile
The Malibu coastline is like a chameleon. In some areas it resembles the French Riviera with its lush, green hillsides descending into crescent-shaped shorelines. In others, it feels 100% Southern Californian with beaches wide and flat as a football field, and often crowded with beach-goers lounging on towels and playing volleyball. Other coastlines still feel secluded, tucked under tall cliffs and dotted with stunning rock formations. In certain areas, where the ocean waves are just right, surfers can be seen bobbing in the water. Up in the mountains to the east hikers take in truly stunning views of the ocean and the sprawling Los Angeles landscape. And along Pacific Coast Highway, restaurants are filled with visitors and locals from all walks of life. Stumble into the right place at the right time, and you’ll likely encounter a celebrity.
