I am longtime fan and "regular" of Duke's in Waikiki whenever I am on the island, but this was my first visit to the Malibu location even though it's been on my bucket list for decades. This trip to SoCal was the charm as we...More

Long waits, very pricy for what you get, food should be better for the price. The staff was friendly and the place was clean, it has great views but still not worth the price and I'm not a cheap skate

It sits right on the ocean. It's touristy but worthy of a visit! It has Hawaiian slant. I had ahi tuna tacos which were an appetizer but plenty for lunch!

Ugly food, terrible service I don't know how people give them 4 and 5 stars. They don't have outside table is just a long line with table close to the window, nothing really exited I think is NOT A GOOD RESTAURANT Waste of money.

We loved our dinner at Dukes Malibu. Ordered mai tais to drink, and they are good, but better at the Dukes in Waikiki. We loved watching the water out the large windows, which almost makes you feel that the restaurant is in the water. While...More

Celebrations come in all sorts of packages and a Hawaiian/Polynesian theme makes the celebration even more special! We have been going to Dukes for special occasions for many, many years. Our son and daughter-in-law had their Wedding Reception there 9 years ago even! Everyone had...More

`This is a fun place to eat on the beach. The food is good, a tad overpriced but the calamari steak appetizer is fantastic. AND each friday is Mai Tai Friday which makes it ohhhhh so much better!

We have been to Dukes many times. It's nice to stop in the bar around sunset and enjoy a drink and an appetizer on the patio and just watch the water. That's what they do best. If you eat inside, request a window table if...More

Okay, so I know some of this can not be planned, but it really was the best night ever. My wife and I were driving down the 101 while on vacation and decided to try Dukes for a late lunch, since we had a friend...More

Chilled out restaurant with a good menu and fabulous views of the ocean. Watching Pelicans dive to feed and a pod of Dolphins, whilst enjoying a lovely fresh fish dish was amazing. Reasonable prices and friendly staff. Interesting surf history to look at too.

The Malibu coastline is like a chameleon. In some
areas it resembles the French Riviera with its lush,
green hillsides descending into crescent-shaped
shorelines. In others, it feels 100% Southern
Californian with beaches wide and flat as a football
field, and often crowded with beach-goers lounging on
towels and playing volleyball. Other coastlines still
feel secluded, tucked under tall cliffs and dotted

Ok for kids. Sat night two weeks out to get your preferred time. Request a window table. Not guaranteed and may have to wait. If want to see sunset, look up time of sunset and book 45 min earlier.

They have a veggie burger that I was told is vegan. The buns had milk, so I had it without, but the waiter said that sometimes they do have vegan buns. The waiter was helpful and went back and forth to the kitchen to ask... More

Duke's Malibu has brought the excitement of Hawaii, Waikiki, and surfing to the mainland. The spectacular oceanfront location on Pacific Coast Highway offers over 300 feet of romantic oceanfront dining and memorabilia from both Hawaii and California surfing history. The Barefoot Bar, looking south into the lights of Santa Monica, is a great spot for drinks and casual food with friends.
