This is an amazing place and host. Right at the Pacific Highway in Malibu, across the other side from the Beach and the Malibu Beach Inn Hotel. Super Cosy Interior, nice selection of wine and drinks and an awesome tasty Pizza 🍕 We will definitely...come back again - the owner is a lovely character and host, we have had a fantastic conversation about life, biz and corona while waiting for our pizza. Due to the COVID, we had to order take out and we were pleasantly surprised how well the food tasted once back at our Airbnb. It is a little on the pricy side but very good and the take out/Grubhub process went really well. The...filet was cooked perfectly, full of flavor, and very tender, not must to the green beans. We weren't a big fan of the Mushroom fries but wanted to try them. The pork chop had a lot of flavor, even the asparagus had more flavor than I have had before.More
My husband and I stay in Malibu often and we just discovered V’s. We had drinks and appetizers a few times, delicious every time. Bartenders are super nice, the servers are efficient and attentive, the host is awesome. We usually sit in the little bar...area, it’s cozy and cute. Great way to start a night in Malibu! :-)More
We had a fabulous meal the other night in an intimate venue, casual but not surfer. Frequented by more locals not desiring the paparazzi, this comfortably elegant dining venue serves up great dishes away from the Nobu & SoHo Gouse crowds who enjoy their food...more than attention. The swordfish was excellent and the short ribs " were very good". Enjoy, elegant casual without pretense, akin to "old Malibu" standards.More
This is probably the best neighborhood restaurant in the area. Since there aren't any views, it's just about a local eating spot. Good food. Always deliver on expectations. The service is solid. The prices are reasonable. Classically presented entres.
We haven’t been to V’s in awhile but when our friends wanted to go out to dinner we nixed Mastros Ocean Club(don’t get me started) and made the switch out to V’s. Boy was that the right choice. OK so you don’t have the view...that Nobu has across the street but the food & service here is terrific. Vassil and Yoshi are welcoming hosts, the waiters are great and everyone loved the food. We had Branzino, Beef Filet, Pastas and Skirt steak after appetizers of Calamari and my all time favorite-Mushroom flatbread. All top notch, full of flavor and paired with some good wines this really was a great night. Thank you Vassil.More

From the Atmosphere to Service everything was as expected. The food was spot on and better than we expected. Great friends, Great Food and a terrific night.
My wife had the short ribs and risoto which was very good. And, the three berry cobbler for desert was fantastic. But, the chef just couldn't seem to get my lamb right. I ordered it medium rare and the first time, it came out medium...well. Despite all apologies, the second attempt came out blood rare. I didn't have the heart to send it back one more time. What do you do when something so basic can't be done right? You don't go back.More
We've never had a bad meal here, or a check which was much less than $60 per person (even when we split appetizers and/or entrees).
