I had a friend visiting from out of town and we took her for the day to have brunch at Paradise Cove restaurant. We then spent rest of afternoon enjoying the beach. Food is ok. Bathrooms both inside and outside are over run. Tip: request outdoor sandy beach seating. The parking can be a bit of a situation. $8 for... More

I came here for lunch with very high expectations and on the surface it's rather nice. On the ocean with the outdoor patio seating is terrific. But the seafood is overpriced to be sure. We ordered the paella to share a ridiculously huge portion which exemplifies the waste associated with the food industry. But the biggest shame of all is... More

Delicious food, great atmosphere! The swordfish was more than great and so is the crispy melt burger! Highly recommended.

My husband took me here for my birthday along with out of town my parents. We ordered hot seafood sampler, an order of cold seafood sampler and a side tumeric garlic rice. Let me tell you that these samplers are big, delish and worth every penny ($31 per sampler). The cold sample came with 4 thick slices of lox which... More

Love the food, this place is so iconic and continues to serve up amazing food. But WOW, our server was SO rude. She kept asking me if I regretted ordering what I got. She even discouraged me from ordering an expensive drink. How is she even still employed there?

I loved this place, that must be said before going on on this. I think there are not many places like this one in all LA Area, where you could literally sit by the ocean and have a nice restaurant, all 10 meters close by. 10 meters from my chair to the beach, 10 meters from my chair to the... Nice place and great food and right on the Pacific Ocean in Malibu But always quite crowded so if you don't mind waiting and the crowds....it definitely is worth going. Might even see some famous people there as they go there too. Enjoy!

I took my kids to a Birthday party here today and, after 20 years of living in Southern California, I can honestly say that this was, by far, THE WORST beach going experience of my life!!! Not only was the parking situation ridiculous (you seriously feel violated afterwards!) - yes, it's $50 on weekends/holidays OR you have to spend at... More

12:30 reservation for 6 on a Saturday. All worked out well. I have been before so we started with the calamari and guacamole. Both fresh and great tasting. Drinks are good and presented well. Yes it is in the expensive side but look where you are and what you are getting. Nice classy beach lunch. Go and enjoy!

Staying in Malibu

Neighborhood Profile
Malibu
The Malibu coastline is like a chameleon. In some areas it resembles the French Riviera with its lush, green hillsides descending into crescent-shaped shorelines. In others, it feels 100% Southern Californian with beaches wide and flat as a football field, and often crowded with beach-goers lounging on towels and playing volleyball. Other coastlines still feel secluded, tucked under tall cliffs and dotted with stunning rock formations. In certain areas, where the ocean waves are just right, surfers can be seen bobbing in the water. Up in the mountains to the east hikers take in truly stunning views of the ocean and the sprawling Los Angeles landscape. And along Pacific Coast Highway, restaurants are filled with visitors and locals from all walks of life. Stumble into the right place at the right time, and you’ll likely encounter a celebrity.
