We came here as we are staying down the road and glad we did. Although it isn't the cheapest restaurant it is worth it for the excellent beachside location and quality of the food. I had the garlic butter scampi which was absolutely spectacular; my husband had the crab cakes with creamed spinach which was equally delicious. Portions are big... More

We drove over from LA through Malibu Canyon for an 8a Sunday morning breakfast with our grandson, 9. While waiting for a scrumptious seafood, bacon, waffles, hashbrowns breakfast with Bloody Marys, virgin Margaritas and coffee, we walked along the beach. Our grandson chased and dodged waves washing to shore and it was just a lovely start to a Sunday. I... More

We stopped off as we drove back to LA for lunch. Right on the beach it's a lovely spot. Portion size is huge but food great. Little expensive but he'll your on the beach in Malibu so what do you expect. Stayed after lunch and we just chilled on the beach for a while. Great spot. Yes $6 to park... More

Crazy crowded but beautiful Friday so understandable. Great beer selection for my tastes! No oysters on the half shell though :(

Passed this place whilst driving from Santa Monica to Ventura. Location and setting looked fabulous so pulled in to the car park which as in other car parks take a ticket and go past the barrier. We stopped for half hour as we were heading for next destination, bought a couple of drinks and sat on the beach. We decided... More

Went here while we were on holiday in Santa Monica and really liked it! Even saw a seal! Love the fact you can have a nice cold beer on the beach too !

Since my husband and I have been coming here for 15 years or more, its become a family spot to go have lunch, our son liked it so much he proposed to his wife here on the beach, it was an engagement to remember! We love the causal atmosphere and the fact its right on the beach. I highly recommend... More

This is the second time my family has chosen to eat here for lunch. We all enjoyed our food. My mother in law said it was the best corn on the cob she's ever eaten! It is expensive but we expected it. They give you a lot of food for your money and if you have a place to keep... More

The service is just so bad, the manager shouldn't manage a dinner in Antarctica. Don't go here, go to other much better places in Malibu

Used to come here regularly when I lived in LA, as the food was good and the location wonderful, but now only about once a year when I visit. The past couple of visits revealed a marked decline in the quality of food and service and a huge increase in prices parking fees. Paid $32 for a rather average grilled... More

Staying in Malibu

Neighborhood Profile
The Malibu coastline is like a chameleon. In some areas it resembles the French Riviera with its lush, green hillsides descending into crescent-shaped shorelines. In others, it feels 100% Southern Californian with beaches wide and flat as a football field, and often crowded with beach-goers lounging on towels and playing volleyball. Other coastlines still feel secluded, tucked under tall cliffs and dotted with stunning rock formations. In certain areas, where the ocean waves are just right, surfers can be seen bobbing in the water. Up in the mountains to the east hikers take in truly stunning views of the ocean and the sprawling Los Angeles landscape. And along Pacific Coast Highway, restaurants are filled with visitors and locals from all walks of life. Stumble into the right place at the right time, and you’ll likely encounter a celebrity.
