Reel Inn is a classic Malibu location. I seem to always bump into folks wearing their t shirt at any beach around the world. And there is good reason. It's one of those people that has history and longevity. The atmosphere is the reason. You just know you're on vacation when you are there. (Even if the vacation is just... More

Went with five friends. They were there before so one of the ladies brought along her own tablecloth and napkins. She also brought wine glasses (as well as wine). You stand in line to order food. The place is indoor/outdoor but with a lot of funk. The food that I had was excellent. Good fish well prepared.

We have eaten here before and I have always liked it but they are sometimes inconsistent. That was our last experience that my husband and I had. I loved my meal and it was prepared just as listed. My husbands meal was not good at all- his fish was rubbery and the coating they put on was not cooked off... More

I loved it - see the fish before you order. Have it done how you like it. Eat outside. It's simple but good example of people doing something - and just that thing - well. Great lunch spot after the beach.

We stopped off here for a beer and ended up coming back later for dinner. A great laid-back atmosphere with ocean views. Our tuna was more medium than medium rare but I'd definitely go back. Good food, good beer, and a nice outdoor patio. My kind of California place.

I had a very great experience eating at Reel Inn. This is not a fancy gourmet fish restaurant, but still the quality of the fish we ate were very good, at very reasonable prices. The real bonus, is the place itself. It's old, original, casual, and the staff is super-friendly. It's more of a "workers" restaurant, and with lots of... More

Don't pass by this little beach shack fish house with out stopping in. Absolutely the freshest seafood you can get. Pick your fish and they will prepare it. Casual style, fairly priced large menu and they even have wine and beer.

Reel Inn is perhaps one of the most surprising fish restaurant on Pacific Coast Highway. Appearing rather "divey" on the outside, we stopped in and was pleasantly surprised. The fish menu is extensive, as are the sides, beer and wine selection. Eclectic and dated , it was very quaint and a perfect lunch location for the two of us. Very... More
