What a wonderful lunch visit. THis is the 2nd time visiting and I jsut cant say enough. For starters- there is NO bad seat on the veranda - insist on the veranda! The bread is awesome, the salads are just beautiful / delish sauteed lump crabcakes/ best chilean sea bass ever bar none and our teenager couldnt stop going on... More

Perfect weather for the terrace, looking out to the ocean at Geoffrey's. We have a well behaved dog, and they have a dog section.I started with a pear martini. Then I had lovely mushroom soup (croutons burned my mouth so pushed aside). Had Shrimp on an artichoke infused mashed potato. I ended with a delicious vanilla/ chocolate creme brûlée, and a... More

The view is always spectacular. The food is I ovaries California cuisine that is lovely. Great wine list and appetizers if you don't want a complete dinner. The Sunday brunch is also fabulous I have heard from friends I enjoy myself every time I am here

There is not much to say about an establishment when everything is perfect. From the valet parking, to the check in at the reception desk, to the table where we were seated, to the efficient server, to the quality and superior taste of the food, to the view of the ocean and the Pacific coastline...perfect, perfect, perfect. Breathtaking and memorable... More

Drove up for lunch from Hollywood, the drive through the Malibu Canyon is pretty good for a start! Lovely table overlooking the ocean, nice and cool down there away from the 90 degree plus heat of LA, a really nice 72 degrees. Valet service very good, polite and chatty. Waiting staff very good, food exceptional. I had the corn chowder... More

Wonderful food in a beautiful setting. I had the lobster salad which was amazing, but my wife's salmon makes us go back this week again. Unfortunately, the valet parking was totally over their head when we arrived - and this at lunch, were not all tables were taken. They need to work on this.

My family had a beautiful brunch this week. The atmosphere, setting and service were spectacular. The food was very good- but not great. The grilled steak with scrambled eggs was yummy. The wild mushroom soup was amazing. The mushroom Brie omelette was ok. The Brie crust gave it a bitter taste. The French toast was beautiful- but it did not... More

We used Open Table to reserve a table for 3, and followed up with a phone cal to request a table outdoors with a view. We were plesantly suprised with a large table on the patio with a wonderful view. The service was impeccable, the ambiance divine and the food even better! The Heirloom Tomato salad was abundant and shared... More

My husband and I went to Geoffry's for Sunday Brunch. Everyone was very friendly and we were seating right on time with our reservation. The view is breathtaking. I highly recommend the Brie pastry for an appetizer, it was delicious! All food was very tasty. Valet parking available.

When looking for beach front lunch or dinner in Malibu this is great. We were on the road and wanted to be quick and within the hour we could leave with one course, coffee and sharing a desert. Try the paella or lobster. Convenient valet parking. Wine is very well priced.

Staying in Malibu

Neighborhood Profile
Malibu
The Malibu coastline is like a chameleon. In some areas it resembles the French Riviera with its lush, green hillsides descending into crescent-shaped shorelines. In others, it feels 100% Southern Californian with beaches wide and flat as a football field, and often crowded with beach-goers lounging on towels and playing volleyball. Other coastlines still feel secluded, tucked under tall cliffs and dotted with stunning rock formations. In certain areas, where the ocean waves are just right, surfers can be seen bobbing in the water. Up in the mountains to the east hikers take in truly stunning views of the ocean and the sprawling Los Angeles landscape. And along Pacific Coast Highway, restaurants are filled with visitors and locals from all walks of life. Stumble into the right place at the right time, and you’ll likely encounter a celebrity.
