We stopped in for a late lunch and found Geoffrey's to be moderately busy. This meal was one of my favorites of our trip. We were traveling with friends. Two people ordered the kobe burgers and they said they were perfectly prepared and delicious. Another had a lobster special which was served with vegetables, a butter cream sauce and a... More

Went mid-week for a work dinner. We were seated immediately with a great table overlooking the ocean. Was too dark to see the water, but the view of the coastline was lovely. Service was great - attentive but not overbearing. Food was OK, not great. Started with the brie appetizer which came in a nice presentation. Good to share for... More

I took my wife and mother-in-law to Geoffrey's seeking good food and an awesome view. We were not disappointed. Excellent service, good (pricey) food and views over the ocean not to be beaten. Outstanding.

I ate at Geoffrey's twice in two days. Thursday we ate a late lunch and it was yummy. I had an exotic corn soup from a place I never heard of. It was very delicious. My choice was coconut shrimp and a salad. My traveling companion had a salad as well. I always drink iced tea, unsweetened. Sorry, Fannie Flag,... More

We were here for lunch, and had a nice table with a view. We saw pelicans flying by. The food was very good. We had the corn soup and the lobster salad. There is not much space to park, but they have valet parking.

I am a little tardy but wanted to give one of our favorite Malibu restaurants a review from last September. My husband and I have enjoyed this restaurant for many years as a couple dining and also with friends...mainly for lunch. This time we made a reservation for dinner to celebrate our anniversary. The food and service was excellent and... More

We were a bit concerned when our group arrived to find the place half empty on a Saturday evening. Fortunately, we all enjoyed a fabulous dinner, excellent service, and a great ocean view at sunset. The favorite entrees were the sea bass and swordfish. We also ordered a variety of desserts, with the cheesecake being the clear favorite. Although the... More

Arrived without a reservation and the staff seemed a little unwelcoming at first but after we were seated and ordered it because one of the best evenings we had in Malibu. Great service from our waiter and the views were stunning. we stayed until sunset. Really recommend!

My wife and I went to Geoffrey's to celebrate our anniversary. Location and view were great. The meals were decent. My wife had the mussels and they were the smallest I have ever seen along with a number of empty shells. Disappointing. The mail courses were better, swordfish and salmon. Overall was a good experience due to great server.

Even tough we came for late lunch at around 3 pm and had no reservation we got a shorefront table with a stunning view over malibu and Santa Monica. Staying in Malibu

Neighborhood Profile
Malibu
The Malibu coastline is like a chameleon. In some areas it resembles the French Riviera with its lush, green hillsides descending into crescent-shaped shorelines. In others, it feels 100% Southern Californian with beaches wide and flat as a football field, and often crowded with beach-goers lounging on towels and playing volleyball. Other coastlines still feel secluded, tucked under tall cliffs and dotted with stunning rock formations. In certain areas, where the ocean waves are just right, surfers can be seen bobbing in the water. Up in the mountains to the east hikers take in truly stunning views of the ocean and the sprawling Los Angeles landscape. And along Pacific Coast Highway, restaurants are filled with visitors and locals from all walks of life. Stumble into the right place at the right time, and you’ll likely encounter a celebrity.
