We live in Malibu and eat at Geoffrey's often. Never had a bad meal. Nice wine list. Top shelf liquor. Great food. (Be sure to get the mushroom soup). Too expensive for family dining. Great place for a romantic dinner.

Had a delicious lunch with one of the world's most spectacular views. Friendly and attentive staff who never let our drinks run out and also made the place fun. They were friendly and nice and not pretentious. I had the alligator dumplings which were superb. Also had the octopus and shrimp tacos which were also really good. My wife had... More

You go to Geoffrey's for the view. Right on the beach, you can't beat it. Try to plan your visit around sunset, while you won't be able to see the actual set, it is still really pretty. The food is not too overly priced, but also not amazing. Service was not what you would expect from a restaurant like this.... More

We went as a group (on a Sunday) of 9 ppl that included 3 toddlers so I was apprehensive to say the least. I was so surprised that we were accomodated at a table that was a little removed from other patrons but with a great view--this was very smart on their part!! Not only was the service at Valet... This is a place for a splurge special occasion. It's past the Colony far along Pacific Coast Highway, but the drive is beautiful if you avoid summer weekend or rush hour traffic. Every table has an ocean view from the terraced restaurant on the cliffs. Fire pits warm lovers from the chill of evening ocean winds. Impeccable service. Caution: it's... More

My teenage daughter and I recently had a delicious lunch overlooking the ocean in Malibu at Geoffreys during our trip to Los Angeles! Needless to say the view and weather were perfect, but the food was equally 5 star. We split the brie cheese appetizer at the recommendation of our friendly server and it was exceptional! We then split the... More

We haven't eaten here in at least 2 years and now we are sorry as it was excellent. We were warmly greeted when we arrived with reservations for my wife's birthday. The waiter was professional and courteous. The busboy was timely and warm. Our cocktails were delicious. My wife's seabass was outstandingly delicious. My wagyu steak was fabulous. The view... More

We first tried Geoffrey's for lunch and WOW!! Fantastic!! The ocean view is gorgeous, service was great, and the food was delicious! We women had a couple of appetizers for a light lunch. The ahi tuna tartare was outstanding! Decided to return for dinner later in the week. We had a larger group of eight for dinner. Still had a... More

This is my favorite Brunch place and I highly recommend to those who have never been there. Be sure and make a reservation. Not only is the food good but the view is too beautiful.

Our party of 12 had a wonderful experience this evening at Geoffrey's. We tried 11 different entrees and everyone was very happy with their selection. The portions were generous and the presentation was very nice. We were not rushed and were able to talk and relax and enjoy the view and atmosphere. Our server, Michelangelo, was a pleasure. He patiently... More

Staying in Malibu

Neighborhood Profile
Malibu
The Malibu coastline is like a chameleon. In some areas it resembles the French Riviera with its lush, green hillsides descending into crescent-shaped shorelines. In others, it feels 100% Southern Californian with beaches wide and flat as a football field, and often crowded with beach-goers lounging on towels and playing volleyball. Other coastlines still feel secluded, tucked under tall cliffs and dotted with stunning rock formations. In certain areas, where the ocean waves are just right, surfers can be seen bobbing in the water. Up in the mountains to the east hikers take in truly stunning views of the ocean and the sprawling Los Angeles landscape. And along Pacific Coast Highway, restaurants are filled with visitors and locals from all walks of life. Stumble into the right place at the right time, and you’ll likely encounter a celebrity.
