I was dining alone so sat at the bar. The hostess (female) was super sweet and greeted me warmly. The server (male) truly left a lot to be desired. He did take my order (salad with grilled shrimp) and delivered the food to me but that was the end. He didn't come back even once to check in on me.... More
I have been here dozens of times, and was disappointed this evening. I would have given them a 3 out of 5, but so many previous fond memories pushed me to give them a 4 (and a second chance in the future to redeem themselves). I gave my name and reservation time upon checking in, only to get a "cancelled... More
Great wine list at reasonable prices. Good service and food was excellent and all moderately priced. Fine dining in a small town -- definitely will return next visit.
We've eaten here several times and always enjoyed it. Last week, not so much. We ate at the bar and initially our bartender was very helpful and gave us some attention. Once it got a little busy he kind of got overwhelmed and we had to wait for our water glasses to be refilled, our antipasto salad took forever, and... More
We had reservations but arrived about 45 minutes early. Even though the restaurant was very crowded we were able to be seated within 10 minutes. Tucked into the corner we had a very good vantage point to view all of the activity. Our waitperson was friendly and knowledgeable and each plate was beautifully presented and delicious. One in our party... More
We usually drive by but decided to stop and explore. Since this was midweek, off season, a lot of places were closed. We dropped in and had a delightful lunch. I had a sale and my wife a portobello / eggplant sandwich. The food was excellent, the service very attentive. Would definitely stop here again
After a long hiatus, we returned to the Los Olivos Cafe for a dinner on Super Bowl Sunday. We were traveling home from San Francisco, no interest in the game. An outstanding evening all around. Our server Jeana was at the top of her game. Personable, perfect timing, and top notch attention to our vegetarian palates, to include making special... More
Thank you for the review! We will let Jeana know you enjoyed her service, I'm sure she'll be delighted to know her attention to detail was appreciated. Glad you enjoyed your experience! Kindly, Shawnda More
Wonderful restaurant in an adorable town. Wine list is fabulous with a great range of prices. The menu has something for everyone and is fresh and delicious!
Some restaurants truly deserve an extra shout out. Los Olivos Cafe is one of them. It serves consistently good food, provides great service, and offers a very pleasant dining atmosphere. While driving through the area, we stopped for a late lunch this rainy Monday afternoon and enjoyed a couple of plates of wonderful food (turkey sandwich and curried chicken salad),... More
