Most of us enjoyed our meal there. A Filet that was ordered was not cooked properly and it was returned for more heat. It was returned in exactly the same cooking temp. That was disappointing. Others were happy with their lamb and also their pasta. It was a nice meal and I would certainly give it another try.

Stopped in for a late lunch at Petros and was pleasantly surprised. To be honest, it was the Fess Parker connection that drew me to this place. A certain generation will most certainly remember Davy Crockett & Daniel Boone!!! Been a while since I have been able to write a positive review about fish/seafood. Ordered a glass of pinot grigio... I've dined a few times here for dinner, several times for breakfast. Service is super slow, there is no hostess so getting noticed takes time, then you wait for menus, ordering and finally receiving your food. For breakfast all we got were paper print outs, not sure what happened to the regular menus they used to have? The food is... More

I celebrated my birthday here. Excellent cocktails , delicious food, beautiful wine from a local vineyard , to die for chocolate cake with ice cream. Service excellent, ambience refined but not stuffy , relaxed casual. Then breakfast was another delight, served on the shady patio .

As part of the Fess Parker Inn, when you enter it's a beautiful looking lounge and bar. The restaurant on the right is fancy yet not intimidating. Robyn our waitress was constantly smiling and courteous with us. Considering we were only the second family there service was a bit slow but SO worth it. The food was so delicious. Best... More

Everything on the menu was tempting. We decided on the Gyro and chicken souvlaki. The gyro was excellent. A very generous portion and the fries were perfectly cooked. It was served with both a cucumber and plain yogurt. I just slathered them on, grabbed it with both hands and had at it. Excellent! The chicken souvlaki was two shish kabob... More

The service is slow. The customer service is lacking. The hotel needs a new restaurant. Bothe mornings my Omelet was brown/burned. For being a restaurant of that quality the chef should know how to cook eggs.

We have found this to be a great restaurant in the past. Great but not perfect this time. The breakfast service was slow. The young man who service the beverages was prompt and friendly, the coffee was fine and the fresh squeezed orange juice delicious. We waited about ten minutes for anyone to take our breakfast order.. And the first... More

One of our favorites in the Santa Ynez Valley, we often take friends and guests for dinner. They have a great bar area where you can sit and enjoy drinks and appetizers, they also have a nice patio / garden area to enjoy. Sometimes we will just order several appetizers, our favorites: the octopus & beets, meatballs (kefthetes), bread &... More

The food is good, just not remarkable. The dining room is modern, but a little cold. I went there when they first opened a few years ago, and have gone back two more times since, thinking that maybe it will improve, but it just seems average, good, but average
