The Bazaar and SAAM are two different rooms. The Bazaar is their main dining restaurant and SAAM is more exclusive and intimate. SSAM also has a different reservation portal and only seats 25 people. Both restaurant serve tapas style but SAAM has a prix-fixe menu and it's a little bit different than Bazaar's menu Just recently ate at SAAM and... More

My wife and I have enjoyed 3 Michelin on all 3 coasts and France and ranked this experience among those and since it's located in a Michelin area I am stunned that it hasn't gotten its star(s!) yet! I am also referring to the main restaurant and only learned of SAAM and its tasting menu that night. The Cotton Candy... More

A few weeks ago I went with a friend to SAAM while visiting LA from Portugal. I have to say this was probably the best meal I had in my life. The food is just amazing and innovative and the service is 5 stars. I wish I remembered the names of the servers we had on the 25th of June... More

At first look the tapas menu seemed a bit overwhelming, then our server came to the rescue! Her friendly explanation was so helpful. We ordered multiple items multiple times and she made sure they were all timed perfectly. Everything was delicious. I think the most unusual item we had was the cotton candy foie gras. Wonderful! Presentations were beautiful as... More

What an interesting place. We tried practically all the small plates. The Philly cheesestake is to die for. The small plates came one after another. Very hip crowd...they even have a special room for desserts which were also amazing. Because they were small we all got to sample some from the group! I will visit here again.

The food of Andrés is unique, innovative, creative and magnificent. The ingredients used were thoughtfully concocted by a genius to create a meaningful culinary experience. They all come in small plates. Which is a great concept because it allows you to taste more. The service was thoughtful except for the bottle of water which was accidentally spilled twice by the... Amazing tasting menu; tons of food! Great decor and service; each dish has very distinct flavor and the desserts are enough to make it a standalone tasting!

This restaurant was recommended by a work colleague for us whilst in LA on business from Dubai. Everything about this place is right, the service, the food, the decor....it all just works. Give it a try you won't be disappointed and not as expensive as other restaurants in the area of lesser quality.

We have been to about six of Jose's restaurants around the US (most in DC and were lucky enough to meet him at the one in Las Vegas), so we are big fans. We were not disappointed, but it pushed the limit of originality a bit. The restaurant is located in the SLS hotel, which I think was what made... More

First off, this was not as good an experience as Jose Andres' Minibar in Washington DC, mainly because this place is huge and loud and crowded with the "in" crowd. Service suffers some as a result. And the food was hit and miss. The "hits" we're: the ham and cheese platters, the Dungeness crab, the ham croquettes with fried quail... More
